Sorry, but with a spread between bikes of 5lbs, $4000, 40mm travel, Recons vs Minions, & piggyback vs straight shocks, this isn't even a remotely cohesive test field. If this hodgepodge is all you could swing in this supply-chain-challenged time, fine, but please don't pretend you're testing a single class of bike. Weights, costs, & travel need to be far more focused, & all bikes shod in identical test tires to properly level the playing field.

Did ibis recommend the Exie over the Ripley for this test? Seems like the Ripley would be more on par with the group. I thought the exie was a pure XC machine. Glad to see it can rip though! Great video guys

Interesting, if something is new, different, and better why would Fox miss out on it? Especially when RS just dropped a new line. Maybe it's only new and different? I sure would like to read about an internal break-down of the two and an on trail comparison! Thanks for the response

I feel like these gear boxes are finally able to compete and outperform a traditional setup without all the friction and drag. I am interested... But now I wonder if it's too late. I think ebikes are lame but they are taking over. Can you run one of these on an ebike? If not then you might as well stop making them now.
