With the steep ST angle, steepish HA, and super low BB, I also think you could put a bigger fork on here with no real downsides.

my brother runs the Intend Aero 2.25mm rotors with the new XTR brakes, works just fine, great braking power too.

That was amazing! I feel the long bikes didn’t work back then because the small wheels would “push” too much. Not enough weight on the front wheel with its small contact patch. Interesting watching the riders hitting their knees on their grips a few times. Seems like the bikes were setup softer too, trying to get grip, the modern bikes are so much more hooked up they can be set up firmer. I like modern bikes set up soft for max control though!! Call me old school!

Its been perfect for me. Ive torn the ligaments and dislocated my thumb and can barely shift on a cold morning with a regular shifter. I dont understand why its so hard to figure it out, especially when you can switch it to your preference

FWIW I was talking about road bike di2. The buttons felt identical and I could never remember which was which. No idea for MTB di2.

But seriously, getting that thing to max insert (that's what she said) in an XXL, XL,.....AND Large frame is damn impressive. A bit slacker (63.6 HTA), a bit more progressive, a bit less curvy. Transition nailed it on this Sentinel update.

1. Interesting they're all on 50mm stems and coil shocks. 2. I'm shocked they're still riding 203mm rotors. 3. I can't/don't believe they're not running inserts.

This was my experience with di2. I remember consciously trying to figure out which button to hit, then hitting the wrong button anyway. After 3 months I gave up.

I have been running AXS shifting for a few months and I am still struggling with the shifter. No matter what I end up hitting the wrong button several times per ride, especially when I am gassed. Have tried reversing (still happens) and the front button feels unnatural as well. Seriously considering taking it off and moving back to a wired system. Not sure why they felt the need to change the thumb motion that has been ingrained in all of us for so many years, but it kills the experience for me.
