With respect to your last line, in the ODub video they are being very humble and nice about other riders etc but they do specifically mention "riders #2 and #3 did a train down the mountain for fun, most riders lines are too scary to do that". If TVS can hit Storch's chute blind, should it be scored that high? Just adding fuel to the fire, but I'm kinda over it, the riding was great, coverage was great, Brendog doesn't seem that pissed, Bienve got more awards than he could hold up at once. Let's just move on...

Well at the end of the day, the riders have the sponsors that they have either because of the results (Gwin had a ton of those), but more and more so because of the following they have among the public. Social media mostly (sadly), but public nontheless. As long as the results are there, the marketing departments can sell products through those, but once the results are not coming as often as they did, the other part becomes really important. The point I'm trying to make? It's hard to have a following if, for whatever reason, the rider, driver, sportsman...

I don't really care one way or the other, nor am I triggered. I'm also not judging the models. They're free to do whatever they want and make a living however they see fit. I'm all for legalizing and legitimizing the sex worker industry, in all honesty. What I (and I think most others) are critiquing is the judgement of these boys in putting together the calendar and that it's pretty out of touch with the imagery that the industry (and sponsors) want to associate with.

I don't think anyone is mad about seeing pics of "chicks." I think that people are questioning the judgement of a group of male athletes who were putting out a product based on the objectification of women, in a sport that is trying to equalize women's role as participating athletes, not relegate them to arm candy and "monster girls."

So the sandbagging in qualifying isn't a thing from what I can tell. Pretty sure all the girls & boys tried to put down real runs to see what they have to beat tomorrow. A good sign for women's racing is that all of the top ones are a second off each other, which was NEVER the case in the past. The top 10 women all within 10 seconds too. That used the be the time game between 3rd & 4th.

Didn't we already go through this before with Rampage? Not sure who is asking for wood features on World Cup tracks but I'd be just as happy with a huge dirt double. Or maybe some whoops...
