I think most people with high-end bikes (and in theory more disposable income) tend to be enthusiasts and decent home mechanics, and as a result they don't need to take their rides to the shop as often. When I was a mechanic most of my time was spent fixing low-end bikes and commuters, though I did occasionally see some nice rides. Point being, perhaps those that would be willing to spend more on a good tune/service are already taking care of it themselves. As a result it's hard to justify a price hike. Then again, does a low-end ride typically...

Or other such complete amateur BS moves aka reporting the news? of course there should be a live webcast of your favorite sport, and then, if you happen to be working that day, of course nobody should report shit until YOU'RE done watching your replay. maybe they should look into shutting down the internet until you're ready. whiner.

Hey Scott - I'm 30 years old and used to live in Utah, I've been to the old site and have walked around it. I have followed Rampage from the first year they did it when I was a senior in high school. I've been riding mountain bikes since 1996 and I'm not a hack... well I'm still a hack. I just don't want the wood features to become a slippery slope and are required to hit to win (regardless of what the judges say). Also I'd hate it if riders felt that they needed to hit any of them...

So...WC DH became more professional and that is a bad thing? I mean I'm not on the WC circuit but it still seems like those guys are still the raucous fun loving group of dudes as they've always been. Just healthier and more focused.
