But all of the appeal is that it is a way for washed up, aging DH riders to cling to the glory and the spotlight for just a few more years until their legs give out, as well as a chance for bike companies to hype new, boring products as "enduro specific".

Yes, please please please make some helmets that protect better with some thicker EPS foam. The smarter ones of us know that an extra 200g isn't going to affect our riding ability. Nor do we care if it doesn't look "cool".

So the shock that had been manufactured and dialed in for the specific frame over the course of the year felt better than the off the shelf shock that they had only 1/2 a run to tune? Color me surprised! That's a really legitimate comparison, great journalism.
