+2 for me, big big agree. But I’m still waiting for those sweet, sweet slideshows to make a return. Or maybe I just need a Spotify link to that low-tempo, bass-forward track that accompanied the slideshows, so I can cue it up and scroll… Spomer can you make that happen and bring back the old timey feels?

Leatt Trail 1.0 shorts: hands down the best breathing and best fitting shorts I've ever owned and at $60, they cost less than half as much as my previous favs from Fox (Attack Q4). No billowing at the knees and a super-functional 3rd pocket on right thigh (only "cargo" pocket I've ever tried that doesn't bang around when loaded on the pedal). I own 4 pairs.

Just a random internet fan, but in the episode covering Asa on S3 of Red Bull Race Tapes I got the sense his parents, and especially dad, are pretty involved in his career and that they sacrificed a lot to help get him the opportunities to showcase his talent racing (and I think it is just awesome to see that). Wish him nothing but the best, and the photo of signing the contract on the tailgate is fucking awesome.

Interchangeable seat rails and saddles. Once you buy a seat especially with titanium rails, you should be able to interchange the saddle with like for like or lower tier saddle/cover.

A 29" Marzocchi 58. I want a cheap(er), reliable dual crown for my single speed park set up, but I'm 6'4 and don't want 27.5 up front...

I wish Vans would make a real mountain bike shoe with proper toe protection, flats and clipless. Every other brand just makes ugly ugly shoes.

Sounds like any hope they had of keeping things rolling is gone. From Pinkbikes Facebook this morning. In an email sent to dealers earlier today, Revel confirmed that it has run out of financial runway and has transferred control of the business to its senior lender.

Thank you for not doing this as a slideshow... So much easier to simply scroll as opposed to look, click, and wait.. It should be interesting to see what else Odyssey brings to the table.. The Thunderbolt cranks on that Fairdale is something my DJ needs..

That is a nice moped.... As a lifelong mountain biker who owns a previous generation Levo moped, but only rides it on about 1 in every 5 rides, why is calling an eMTB a moped an insult or dig? Of course it's a moped, it's super fun, fast and engaging. I love riding my moped, but it's definitely a different experience from riding my mountain bikes. I love both, they aren't mutually exclusive.

Looking at the results, Cameron Bragg (Cat 1 - 18U) was the fastest female of the day, beating Aletha by three seconds. Based on your description of the day's conditions, it appears she faced slightly tougher conditions than Aletha. Wow!

When I went last year, I rented a condo on the beach with my wife about 5-10 minutes south of Freeride Madeira. It was cheap and a beautiful spot. We had rented a car so my wife just dropped me off and picked me up. But we did stop at a spot closer to the main area of Funchal to...

Small piece of advice, take it or leave it, but there are more generous ways to say "hey, I found something too!" As I’ve mentioned a few times, this thread feels more like a collaborative 6th grade social studies project than high-level buy-side analysis. People generally give each other the benefit of the doubt, and the usual passive-aggressive Reddit snark tends to stay out of the room. Of course, do as you wish. I just like to believe there are better ways to engage. @CascadeComponents this was exactly what I was curious about. Thanks for the thoughtful context. In the...

Bigger tires generate more grip via a bigger contact patch, and bigger tires also have a mellower impact angle on sharp things. Also, as many have observed, by having your front and rear axle at different heights, you've changed your "endo angle" on the front of the bike to make it more stable, while keeping the "wheelie angle" on the back of the bike lower and more dynamic for body english in turns and on jumps. The best of both worlds.

I think the reason is right there in your comment "on the EWS circuit". UCI/Warner have made the EWS not worth the support from sponsors anymore.
