Prices aren't already shocking? I don't fully agree with all of Francis's opinions about why bikes/ebikes are so expensive, but I do agree with him that we have been conditioned to accept some ridiculous pricing.

That's a fair question and was my sentiment. I bought a 23 aware of the headache but thinking it couldn't be that bad. It was much much worse for reasons you're not expecting: Want to service your dropper...that 5 minute job is now a 2 hour ordeal because the cable is locked in by the battery and the headset routing doesn't provide enough slack. Never had another headset creak and groan like this one. Required weekly regreasing sometimes. The partial preload collar failed in fatigue once...was warranted but I mean common, ever see a preload ring fail?! Results in housing...

Out of interest did you see Adam Brayton's track walk vid at the Wales event? At one point he mentioned a line where there was a gentleman's agreement the previous year, which he said BK then broke. 🤷‍♂️

I think his comments about hardline TAS being unfair really were the nail in the coffin for a lot of people

Super competitive to get on the US Elite Men's DH team right now. Here's a list off the top of my head of fast US dudes who've been showing serious pace this year who didn't make the cut: Dante Silva, Evan Medcalf, Alden Pate, Gavin Tomlinson, Cole Suetos

Well I can think of 10 people, 2 bike brands, and the network of supporters behind them who’d want to share that image. Besides the actual race with coverage is at the end of the week. It will have double the views of anything on wbds YouTube channel now that they have removed juniors. And the winning run will likely have views in the millions as opposed to the views under 200k. There is also the Garbo and air Dh as smaller podium opportunities. Tons of vlog opportunities. And the entire week is probably the most attended mtb event in...
