Cool video, but can we please stop with the high/wide corner entry lines. Unless it is a race course stick to the defined trail otherwise it just widens the trail and dumbs it down. No different than sanitization of other features IMO.

Nice informative video. I have a lot of time on the DPX and Foat X2, but not much on the X2. I did notice from the sound of your rear rim pinging in the rock section a tire insert might be a better investment than a new shock. Haha.

I have the material and can cut and apply film over vulnerable spots as needed. It is driven by carbon fiber garage queens who obsess over resale. I don't buy my bikes thinking immediately about resale. That is dumb.

In an industry overwhelmed with dumb and overpriced products. The protection film market is leading the charge for the stupid looking to give away their money because they don't want a scratch on their frame. Insane.

$65 with no middle man strikes me as kinda expensive. MAP (minimum advertised price) for most Maxxis models is less than $70. A direct to consumer cost of $45-$50 would put them on par with the wholesale pricing of the the most expensive mtb tires available.

Not very earth-shattering at $65 dollars. If they were $40-50 that would be more newsworthy. When you have a boutique carbon FS bike, top of the line suspension and carbon hoops you usually don't lose any sleep if you spend 10-15 dollars more per tire. Not diminishing the performance of the...more

MSRP may be $90, but MAP is often like $68. That is what you should realistically expect to pay.

Installation is relatively easy. Removal is next to impossible once a DH casing has glued itself to the bead seat.
