storm.racing Liked a reply to forum topic Who rides in pants that aren’t specific MTB pants?

I ride in Lululemon ABC Warpstreme due to length requirements (37" inseam model). Been a big fan for trail riding (only when it’s cold- as I hate pants). Extremely comfortable fit and material. Not quite what I would want on DH days though.

I ran 180 cranks on my singlespeed for 20 years because the internet said my long legs needed that. I now run 165 and my knee pain, along with pedal strikes are gone. Never trust the internet... unless it is Vital 😁

I have a 37in inseam and run 165mm on my trail bike, 155 on my DH/Park bike, and 150mm on my DJ. I tried going back to my 175mm on my trail bike to see if it would climb any better and it was so uncomfortable. I felt like I was wasting energy and was having crank strikes everywhere. Shorter cranks are where it's at for several reasons.

I have a pool my whole life and use it only few times a year. My recommendation - find a company which installs the pools

We've actually never really tested that back-to-back. All I know is that I've never had any issues with my non piggyback shocks, but then I don't live in the Alps either. In theory, the larger oil volume of a piggyback should provide for better cooling and finer control over the damping, which may come into play on longer runs on more aggressive terrain. Also, bro points are very important.

Yes, it is a bit easier to get to now with this new layout. (don't worry about loss of air though, by the time you actually hear air escaping, the schraeder valve should be closed for some time already...it closes off as you start unscrewing the pump head...)

Just wondering if the Schrader valve angle has changed and is any easier getting on to fill when fitted to the YT Izzo. The previous gen Float DPS is just plain awkward to access and I never have confidence of how much air is lost using the YT shock pump.
