Booked a week trip with Freeride Madeira for April and currently looking for accommodation. Would just go with one of the options offered by FM, but we have one extra person that might join so we're looking for something that 2 of us can book, but then a third could also stay, so kind of looking at 3 person apartment options. Trouble is knowing whether they have decent bike storage as it's not something generally listed. Also not entirely sure where the best location is with regards to getting the uplift each day. Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks

When I went I stayed with friends so can't help on the accommodation side, but we rolled down to the shop most days, but they do also pick up from the CR7 hotel as well. Have you asked FR for some apartment recommendations?
Was thinking about it but not asked yet, no. Sort of feels a bit cheeky asking them if they've got any recommendations for accommodation that isn't their own.
FRM does offer two apartment style accommodations.

I only know this because we just booked a group vacation with them in the last few days. Not to hijack the thread but would love to expand this thread out to anything Madeira. Must sees, must eats, must avoids.
I can help with the must eats: a combination of lapas, bolo do caco and ponchas. Repeat 3x or 4x a day and throw in an occasional typical beef skewer.
Man I miss that place
Man, I am envious of you guys, as this place has been on my bucket list for a while! Just for my own future reference, is there an optimal time of year to visit, for either temperature or avoiding rain, or do they have pretty steady weather all year like Hawaii?
When I went last year, I rented a condo on the beach with my wife about 5-10 minutes south of Freeride Madeira. It was cheap and a beautiful spot. We had rented a car so my wife just dropped me off and picked me up. But we did stop at a spot closer to the main area of Funchal to pick up some other riders. The food, culture, scenery, people are all amazing. And the ridings even better. I’m already planning another trip.
