I can help with the must eats: a combination of lapas, bolo do caco and ponchas. Repeat 3x or 4x a day and throw in an occasional typical beef skewer. Man I miss that place

I've got a customer who ordered an A-series bike that I'll hopefully be helping build soon. One thing I didn't know was the customer is contacted and brought along through the whole build of every frame. He gets check in's from Atherton bikes every step of the way. To me, it seems to be taking a bit longer than I expected but it sounds like they're quiet busy. Interesting to see the customer side of what they're doing and it's pretty impressive to what I've seen from other custom builders.

It will be interesting to see if teams stick to the belt when somebody wins the prize purse or they switch back to conventional drive trains - that would be the ultimate test of the technology.

1/8/2025 8:40am Sort of removes the U from UBH if you need to have different configurations for seat stay mounting and chain stay mounting. As Johnathan mentioned as long as 400 and 426 stay on the same member you can still have a pivot on the seat stay.

1/8/2025 7:40am Would this not limit frame designs from having a pivot between 400 and 426. Take the inverted 4 bar designs of a Forbidden Dreadnought for example. In a design like that isn't the distance between 400, and 426 going to change and not work with this?

Just a data point, my real world experience with a specific hybrid bearing has been the total opposite of what you guys have read. I have a bbinfinite, Press Fit BB module, with hybrid bearings in my RM Slayer. This bike sees all sorts crappy weather and I have found it to be better than any bb I’ve ever had for smoothness and durability. It predominantly sees shuttle and lift served laps but also has been pedaled in the alpine and steep B.C. Access roads.
