its certainly not impossible, but i have a few thoughts if he were to break contract: 1 - given Asa's results and potential, I'm inclined to think he'd want his next contract to be longer term, rather than the typical 2-3 year contracts. 2 - trek would have to dangle a fair amount of money at him to get him to break contract. 3 - given the changes being made to team rules, he may have had concerns about whether or not the frameworks team would be able to enter every world cup of the season. 4 - without Asa's...

Anyways for frameworks they do have a lot of sponsors which I'm sure the American companies that back them are happy to help an American team given the potential the team has with Asa. Sure they don't make a lot of frames, but they definitely make enough to have a bit of cash and especially with Neko being one of the founders of Ride Kanuga and all the backing they have, funding probably isn't an issue, especially when you're not a big...

Tough for a family team to survive in eso’s vision for dh. Tahnee is in a good place for next season but all it would take is a pretty minor injury and missing a few races to not be. And the female side of things is only getting more competitive at a pretty wild rate. She can’t do a safe run for 2nd and 3rd anymore. Also hard for a new team to get In the sport full time despite having a race winner and world champs medalist on their roster. Teaming up makes sense to play eso’s game. Remember...

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but Transition Factory Racing was not run by Transition, it was run by Jorge who also runs Pro Builds?? Both teams were supported by Transition. But I agree, I think brands can support racers at the national level to continue to grow the sport. And who knows, us older people remember when the NORBA series was as big if not bigger than the WC.

Seeing that Transition Factory Racing is shutting down due to the new WC changes. I know they weren't the biggest team out there but it still sucks. It would be cool to see teams like Transition Factory that can't support being in the world cup anymore move over to being a National team, focusing on the Monster Energy races and other big US races and series, helping them to develop. We definitely need more support for national level DH

We all knew this was about to happen- across the board globally I mean….. BUT! here is where the true believers get -go to- build and love- staff, all those national teams for various national race series. Or as WB thinks it will work, the “ feeder series” ….. If someone can put tougher a media package that’s rivals WB tho……. Then they may just be the “uci Europe dh guys” It’s Deja vu really ….. Should be vey very interesting to watch this all play out

...or larger companies cant be risky enough to invest into partnership with a company from mainland China that might be banned from the US market (entirely or in parts) ... or larger companies have business contracts with the current manufacturers that span years and have amendments for future deals ... or larger companies don't want to jump the ship too fast to have an unproven yet tech for their flagships I'm not in any way against DJI, but those kinds of questions are likely to be answered positively by smaller companies

More speed and power! Looks to be DJI. Competition for the current market can only be good for us consumers. For the most part I think the current crop of ebikes are pretty close to the right mix of weight, power and performance. A solid frame will always be important. This is where I think future manufacturers who miss the mark and will try to cover up with more power. There's also reliability, a variable that seems mostly skipped over in this new market. I've ridden tons of steep trails that look flat on GoPro footage. This still looks scary steep in spots so I know it's way more insane in person... looks like a wild course that's going to be fun to watch on race day.
