9/14/2024 6:21am Dak had to travel back from Euroland, so Loudenvielle podcast got recorded yesterday. If you don't have time to listen, one of the main reasons Dak was off the pace was that he didn't put mud tires on for his race run. Live and learn...

9/14/2024 6:21am The change in schedule meant a lot of people didnt get near enough practice runs in. Hardly seems fair not to mention it hurts the product

9/14/2024 6:20am This is the main thing I think of when people say they want DH to be like F1: they’ll change the rules, the actual rules, like on a Tuesday between races. Fake shit!

5/27/2024 9:38am When those jumps first came out, I thought, “Oof, maybe it’s just the angle that makes it look so bad?” Now I’m firmly in the territory of, “Fuck that shit, I have no interest in watching the event now.” I’m fine watching pros hit xxl features that are built well (Rampage or Dark Fest for example), but I’m not down with watching someone get bucked to their death on a feature that looks like it was drawn out by a child that drank one too many energy drinks.

5/27/2024 9:10am the road gap is definitely a heavy one! i think the road gap has a lot more "gentle" entry into it though. it's a relatively slow roll onto the bridge and then pretty calculated pace off of it, there are no compressions or things that can buck a rider or compromise a bike once committed to take-off on the ladder. the road gap landing into that turn seems sketch though! they're going so fast LOL. i personally don't care about the aesthetic of the scaffolding and whether it's "mountain biking" or not. i'm terrified by the idea of a rider...

5/27/2024 9:10am Give us some good tech jank. I’d rather watch my favorite riders race good technical “hardlines” instead of potentially dying. Not to mention many are WC riders who I would love to continue watching the rest of the season.

3/11/2024 7:26am Aaron is pretty high up in Maxxis, so I'm gonna assume when he says "separate manufacturing" he knows what he's talking about. If I'm tracking, he's saying "CST makes Maxxis" is kinda like saying Cadillac makes Buicks, when they're both separate brands owned and made by GM. Cheng Shin Rubber makes Maxxis and CST (Cheng Shin Tires), separate brands that apparently have their own engineering and manufacturing.

3/11/2024 7:25am Good stuff! Thanks for answering the stupid forum questions. haha Edit- I broke my elbow exactly the same in Moab. Flipped over the bars, caught myself with my hands and split the radial head- elbow never even touched the ground. Mine healed a bit faster though- no issues 10 years later.

3/6/2024 11:16am Official Continental GT press release - Danny Hart, Vero Widmann, Chris Cumming, Harry Molloy This small family team was formed back in 2021 to support two young Irish riders Ronan Dunne and Chris Cumming break into World Cup Racing. Had it not been for the vision of Continental Tires and Nukeproof Bikes none of this would have been possible. After a standout season in 2023 as a fully-fledged UCI Elite Team, no one could have imagined the turmoil that would ensue for not just the team but the entire mountain bike industry. During the winter of 2023, while the future...

3/6/2024 11:13am Hah. So a lot of us were predicting Fezzari for Kyle and Rachel. They'd been spotted on the brand. Another poster who appeared in the know kept insisting, "They won't be on Fezzari." I see what he was doing, now. Well played, sir. Well played.

3/6/2024 11:12am Well, good luck Fezzari... er Ari. I cant imagine Kyle is exactly 'light' on his bikes. Wonder if they are going to work with him on a DH bike or just do the ole, chuck a boxxer on the front and see what happens. That said my friend has one, and other then the fact that I thought it was italian at first it seems like a great bike. I don't know how a US brand has been able to fly so low under the radar for so long. Maybe Rachel and Kyle will do the trick.

3/6/2024 11:12am Not sure why they didn't just completely rebrand but it is a better name. Fezzari always just sounded like a cheaper amazon brand name and they do seem to have proven themselves over the last few years. Ari still feels awkward but I'm also a long time, jaded bike industry person. Good on them, the new bikes look great.
