4/11/2026 6:30am yep, I rewatched it and realized you can see a Bosch wheel magnet twice. So I guess the question now is, did they use the CX or SX motor? My guess is CX since most people want full power.

4/11/2026 6:25am I've never bought a full bike internationally, but I have bought 3 frames. I had to send a rear triangle back and that would give me pause purchasing something this expensive that doesn't have local dealer support. But that's me. Sea Otter will have further reveals…

4/10/2026 7:34am Digging into the new Ekano 3 from Propain, they've gone a different route to many other brands in that they will be letting customers choose their own Avinox power system variant via their online bike configurator. Two drive options are available: the Avinox M2S is the high-performance choice with 130Nm (150Nm in Boost mode), 1300W, and 2.6kg of weight, while the Avinox M2 steps in as a more budget-oriented option with 110Nm (125Nm in Boost mode), 1100W, and 2.65kg of weight. There is also a range of display, battery, and charging options, including 600Wh or 800Wh fixed batteries, a choice...

4/9/2026 10:06am Not sure where to put this, and frankly a little bummed it's not already on the main page. Laurie Greenland posted a vid about what he's up to and hinted about future projects and sponsors. Stoked for the guy.

4/9/2026 10:01am My condolences to everyone who bought a current gen Levo at full price. There's zero chance the prices stay that level with a $5,000 Amflow around. Cheapest alloy Levo is $6,100 and the cheapest carbon Levo is on sale for $8,000 from it's MSRP of $9,200. (bonkers) Spesh was always dreaming with those prices, I mean even before the Amflow who would choose the Levo over a Vala that costs less? I'm a removable battery absolutist and would still get the Vala over the Levo. Luckily according to Amflow being able to NOT remove your battery quickly is now a...

4/9/2026 9:59am Feel like the orbea might be the banger from the lot (absolutely no info but i saw a rallon in person last week and my jaw hit the floor). Hard for me to not just grab an AMflow PR and upgrade as i go. €4500 for a full carbon bike with ok specs and geo adjustment is incredible...

4/7/2026 8:05am The remaining RockShox forks and shocks are finally officially live: Zeb - https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/2027-rockshox-zeb-fork-tech-info-im… Lyrik and Super Deluxe - https://www.vitalmtb.com/features/first-look-my27-rockshox-lyrik-fork-a… Vivid - https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/rear-shocks/rockshox/vivid-ultim… There is a lot of trickle down tech that was first released with Boxxer and Vivid Coil. My time has been most spent on the new Zeb, and it's been really really impressive. So much grip, really light off the top and easy on the hands, new ABO adjustment is really useful and impactful, and the fork has felt the same day in and day out. It's definitely linear, so has a different feel. More muted and calm...

4/6/2026 6:15pm I run CC Pro on the rear of both my DH and e-bike. How bad does a CC have to look before opt for a new one? The ones I’m currently running are looking pretty rough.

4/6/2026 6:10pm After my MS diagnosis and symptoms caused me to stop riding, I got a job at Art's cycles doing bike building/packing and I started a list of new bike tech that would come up that I've never gotten to use. Some of it was from before but I hadn't been able to afford. Inserts are on that list. Along with 27.5 and 29 inch wheels and many more. But I got So good at installing them. Experience installing motorcycle tires helped immensely. But most installs at the shop usually came back to me. Rims have that deeper section for a...

4/6/2026 6:07pm here is a question, whenever I change a tire it looks like a rat has been eating my cushcore lol. Literally chunks missing. Is that where I've hit it so hard it's broken off? I reckon it's saved me thousands in rims.

4/6/2026 6:00pm Throwing in my 2 cents - I’ve had very good luck running rim saver inserts: https://www.savetherims.com/?srsltid=AfmBOop7KinRNnjwigDuUX5L9IT4FgTlIU… They’re great if you don’t want to change your “tire feel”, but just want to add pinch flat protection/rim protection. Added bonus is they last much longer than a foam insert that gets cut up by the rim. If you’re looking for more sidewall support/damping from your insert, then they probably aren’t what you’re looking for.
