Vittoria is pushing hard with new tread patterns, casings and rubber compounds. I’ve been a tire tester for them since helping with the development on the Mazza. Ken Avery was part of the Minion program with Maxxis and he’s doing some great stuff at Vittoria now.

Looks like some kind of prototype Mazza on the Unno. I liked running the Mazza as a trail tire 5-6 years ago in 4C compound, curious what they have in the works. Vittoria has good XC tires, but could definitely use more improvement in their DH tire range

I have the dh16 on the back of my enduro bike currently. I haven't ridden a dhr in a long time but i'd say the dh16 is similiar to a tacky chan 2.4 on the rear, but more. It feels a bit heavier, rolls a bit slower, brakes a bit better, but has similar handling characteristics wrt to the gap in between center and cornering knobs and the locked in cornering feel. Overall the dh16 is a bit more tire than the TC, and for me I prefer the dh16 for shuttles and bike park, and the TC everywhere else...

Not the DH16, but I have used the DH22 in the past (which I assume has the same casing). If you ride a lot of bikepark or fast and rough trails it might be ok, but I found it too stiff for more general UK enduro stuff

Agreed on all points. I’ve also thought about throwing a dh16 on the back - looks pretty comparable to a dhr2. Do you have any experience with that tire? It’s only available in their DH casing, so might be too stiff for me as I haven’t had issues with their enduro casing.

They were mounted on different bikes but the Wild Enduro MS mounted front & rear roll way faster than a Hillbilly/Cannibal combo. I agree with @NonLineon - the Wild Enduro MS fly under the radar a bit (in these forums at least). I have been using them exclusively for the last year or so across all UK condituons and I can't remember using a grippier tyre. They are spiky enough for UK winter mud but stable enough for hardpack, high speed corners too. The casing strikes a nice balance in my experience. They do wear out extremely fast on the...

performance wise the latest ones, precisely the MH performance rear, and E wild performance front, can't comment on how long they last as i had them to try for a few rides only, casing is different, bit more supportive i felt compared to the older ones from a few years back, rubber is apparently the same as what the Magi x. Gum x is according to the rep i've spoken to

My experience with the racing line MS is they roll equal to or faster than an equivalent maxx grip Maxxis tire, which is my baseline. Not too worried if the performance line doesn’t roll all that much faster, mostly just want the tread to last longer. Different priorities than you, maybe. What performance series tires have you tried? Wild Enduro...

Here is some non radial tire talk - I’ve been running the Michelin Wild Enduro MS Racing Line front and rear for a season and a half now. In general I’d say it’s been the best set and forget tire I have used. Similar loose condition performance to other all-rounders like the Magic Mary or High Roller, but holds up...

Rim saver checking in here. Works. It's light. Less hassle than foam.

ODI Rogue - they're a classic for a reason! And they're available in the new single clamp lock on, which is great. I can run my hands a little farther toward the end of the grip now.

I’m about 205lbs and I’ve been running a Cushcore in the rear of all of my bikes for close to six years, I used to go through at least two rear rims(alloy) a season, now I’m getting multiple seasons out of an alloy wheelset. Currently two bikes in my stable, my enduro bike will always have a Cushcore in back, but the wheelset (Hunt TrailWide v2) on my trail bike is at the end of its lifecycle, got about 18months out of it. I recently bit the bullet on my first ever carbon wheelset. Ordered a RimSaver for the piece...
