3/10/2025 9:01am I used that logic for way too long before I finally bought some Dominions and realised I was being really stupid. Never going back to Shimano or Sram brakes. The only downside I've found is holding back the vomit whenever i have to use someone elses brakes.

3/10/2025 8:59am I mean the IP of Nukeproof really isn't a lot. Not having a go at them, but a few horst link bikes and a couple linkage driven single pivots. Not like they had anything revolutionary, they're bikes are very middle of the road, not in a bad way.

3/10/2025 8:58am 1) The Ari rebranding didn't really do much for me.. I was already liking where they were going on the bikes prior to the rebranding. 2) The Nukeproof return is something I'm putting into the wait and see category. They were doing solid bikes at good prices. Will this continue? We'll see.. 3) I guess I have a bit of a soft spot for Kona. With the original owners back, can they get back on track? I hope so.. So, I'm picking 3..

3/7/2025 9:00am I have heard through the crab vine that mech trans & Motive brakes will be released at the end of the month. New Rockshox wireless dropper will one up Wolf Tooth's 242mm drop length and with no hydraulics at all, just air Just speculation though, crabs are quite difficult to understand

3/7/2025 8:59am It is mechanical Transmission. I'm told the setup process is essentially the same as electronic Transmission. The shifter is visually very different from existing SRAM mechanical shifters -- much boxier, kinda reminiscent of some of TRP's designs. I also hear that it shifts very, very well.

3/7/2025 8:58am Would be great if they made it backwards compatible, ie you could fit it in the same bike as a hpr50. I ride a fuel exe and it's such a great handling bike, a little more grunt on the climbs would be ace though!

3/6/2025 9:55pm This is just the cassette that's used with the OEM only S1000 Transmission. That whole groupset kind of flew under the radar when it launched, but nothing new here.

3/6/2025 9:51pm They got acquired by Fox Factory – aka Fox Racing Shox – not Fox the apparel brand. Bike industry companies under the Fox Factory umbrella are Fox (suspension), Marzocchi, Race Face, Easton, Lizard Skins, and Ride Concepts. Fox apparel (aka "Fox Head") is under the umbrella of Revelyst, who also own Bell, Giro, Camelbak, Blackburn, and Quietkat.

3/4/2025 8:35pm There aren't many, if any jerry's on the off the menu stuff. Telonics is fairly isolated other the the fire road transfer and cross over. If you know of a shuttle-able trail close to the socal mtb industry, that can push a dh bike and has ocean views to enjoy, then I think those people would be stoked to hear about it. While there are plenty of things that I do/don't love about living in socal... Ripping trails before/after work with ocean views that are world class difficult and looking at the sunrise/sunset, definitely gets filed in the love side...

3/4/2025 8:35pm He's passing through SoCal for a few days, visiting sponsors (Crank Brothers is in Laguna) and meeting up with Fox and Pinkerton (who lives around the corner). You lads may be overthinking this.
