3/26/2025 7:50am This new 36 SL is interesting. It has a rumored weight of 1795g (29″ 140 Grip X) which is similar to the previous gen Fox 34. Apparently it is optimized for 120 to 140 mm of travel which could land it on beefed up downcountry rigs and short travel trail bikes. If the weight is similar then what would happen to the non-SL 34? I've been using a 34 GRIP2 on a previous downcountry rig which now it lives on a 140mm trail bike. This 36 SL would be a pretty sweet upgrade.

3/24/2025 5:45pm "If I had to give one piece of advice to almost any business, it's this: reduce the number of choices you offer your customers . I've mentioned this elsewhere in the thread, but the more small business financials I look at, the more this rings true—objectively so." Amen, brother. Preach. For years, I've thought that exact same thing about the number of choices, in particular every time I look at the 5.10 shoe offerings, or the Maxxis tire catalog. We all know that there are like 3 good shoes in the 5.10 line, and somewhere between 3 and 5 good...

3/22/2025 9:57am The MTBR Ibis forum had someone who spotted the new Ibis Ripmo AF frame in Santa Cruz, one black and one raw alloy. Interested to see what changes they make (if any) compared to the V3 Ripmo carbon.

3/21/2025 9:12am I've had a few new fox products, including the one released today, in my hands over the last few weeks and while I'm not a fox fan boy, the feel and look of the new 34SL, - Redacted- and - Redacted- are certainly a bump up from the previous gen. It'll be interesting to see how they review. The 34SL is stupid light in your hand.
