11/14/2025 9:42am 2 weeks ago I finally got around to having time to set up the new crankbrothers synthesis wheelset from vital fantasy (still so stoked thank you vital and crankbrothers). Pulled the tires and tannus tubeless off my oem set (which I can mount by hand without Tyre levers). Try to install them on the new set. 29r front goes on easy by hand. 27.5 rear is unbelievably tight to get the last little bit and needs levers to get on. Won’t hold air longer than 20min. Spray it with soapy water and it blows bubbles around the valve stem and...

11/14/2025 3:34am The only issue I had with my Trance X was that the bearings were shit. Less than a year of riding (closer to 6 months that a year) and the bearings were FUBAR, bike got wet 2 or 3 times and most of the bearings were rusted up badly, both the races and the actual bearings. I got lucky the...

11/13/2025 6:44am So... some math isn't mathing for me. Thanks to Spotify's podcast transcription feature, Troydon said, referring to Aaron Gwin, "He's got a small ownership in the company(Crestline) and we've set almost like some targets and over the next X number of years, as long as we hit those targets, Aaron will get like, you know, issued more equity in the brand." AG gets applauded for his business acumen a lot here, yet people seem to think he'd ride for a different/rival bike brand while holding an incentivized stake in Crestline. Unless he's suddenly not a part of Crestline anymore, it...

11/11/2025 7:28am Every time I'm tempted by a USD fork I look at the scratches on the lowers of my 36. They are no issue on that fork but would be a problem on a USD fork.

11/11/2025 7:25am JKW appears to be leaking due to the massive scratches he has on the stanchions. I don’t think a RSU fork could hold its oil with that much missing material.

11/8/2025 7:38am Tippie was in NWA quite a bit over the last couple of years as part of YT events. Everything said on that writeup is true. He's unflagging in his positivity and stoke. He includes everyone and interact with everyone from the kookiest kid to the most seasoned pro. He's almost uncomfortably positive and full of stoke at times, but a brand really couldn't ask for a better ambassador. I hope he lands somewhere. Dude is a legend, and his story of climbing out of the dark depths of addiction is inspirational.

11/6/2025 3:17am Try some rubberized heat shrink on the levers. It might give enough grip without destroying gloves.

11/6/2025 3:11am Greeting people with "what's up assholes?" in videos is not poor attitudes. Leave Unc alone, he's honest and he works hard to spread the good word of long rear centres.

11/6/2025 3:02am Their enduro team was done last year but they graciously kept me on board for this year with my contract having another year on it. Sounds obvious of course, but the bike industry isn't always so giving. The DH team took me in and I had a blast all year long, which was the main reason for doing DH at the end of the year. I just wanted to hang out with the team some more, and who wouldn't take the chance to race World Cup DH while they can. As for next year, stay tuned.

11/5/2025 3:04pm If Joe's team moves to Nukeproof I'm guessing that they won't have a gearbox bike available to them ? Will be interesting to see if any teams go towards or away from the gearbox option .

11/1/2025 4:45pm Cyclocross wrenching background - rather than smaller, we found pads that heat up faster are better. The alloy core rotors manage high temp better but also get up to operating temp faster.

10/31/2025 2:19pm There is a short review on YouTube by QuarterHP with Remi Gauvin riding it. It’s heavy. It’s not fast on the pedals. https://youtu.be/UJkPzhZouNs

10/30/2025 5:17am I would love to see Dak with FW. I think there is a decent chance he heads to Intense. Honestly would love to see him leave Mondraker (no reason). I hope Specialize puts some female riders on the team. Pivot needs a serious refresh. I hope BK has a great season but even if he did they need more. Norco also needs a team refresh too. Would love to see them pick up a 10 top male. Also - I was at Placid, it was great. Watched the reply and I thought it was the worst filming of the year...

10/30/2025 3:10am I think that information is useful, but in a limited sense. Positive air spring volume is one number that's part of several other ratios that determine spring rate, like positive to negative volume ratio (e.g. MegNeg) and positive volume to air shaft displacement ratio (e.g. new Boxxer with a smaller seal head, requiring way higher pressures to create a more linear feel). You could be looking at two shocks with similar positive spring volumes that had very different spring rate curves depending on some of those other factors.

10/29/2025 1:24pm genuine question, how hard is it to get support for intend n NA? either full service or parts for DIY? It always scared me off of niche Euro based product. I've been more likely to consider Push, simply because they are this side of the ocean.

10/29/2025 1:23pm I think that Cornelius has completely outclassed Fox in the Upsidedown fork space. Options, quality, weight, price, reliability, performance, etc. Intend wins on every aspect. What the Podium did for me, is make me really interested in the Intend...
