MPH24 Added a comment about news story Trump Approves Tariffs on Chinese Goods Including $1 Billion in Bike Products
9/18/2018 11:48am Are these jobs people actually want? Our economy is changing and I am not convinced people want a career building bike frames when every year those frames are getting closer to being to be built by robots. That will bring a new type of job to the bike building processs

9/14/2018 8:36am This!!!! Spomer, make this happen! 8-10 year old high-end DH bike versus New Budget friendly build, you could even throw in a high-end enduro bike from today to see if it's, in fact, faster than the old DH bike. I also volunteer to be part of the test, since I possed the initial question.

9/14/2018 7:41am This is a really interesting question. Personally, I like having all of the adjustments of high-end suspension today mostly because its fun to puzzle around with it but as far as having a DH bike that is easy to setup and ride there's a lot to be said for the simplicity given how well it works. Spomer - What are...

9/14/2018 7:21am Good question. In a word "Yes". But this doesn't end with DH bikes, trail bikes, XC bikes, all bikes are more betterer (technical term) at a much lower price point than ever before. Part of the reason for that is technology is really getting to a place where it isn't getting that much better, so the next most logical place to apply engineering is "how to we make this rad thing better for less". 5 years ago I would notice a big difference in overall "ride experience" on a $10,000 bling machine and a $2500-3000 bike. These days, so long...

I agree this predictability things is a big deal, but this appeared work incredibly well for the first go. I wonder if in the future they will offer more a "gravity" setting where more emphasis is placed on the angle of the bike (i.e. going down) and have more of delay towards flat/uphill settings in their algorithm.

I think the power down into a big hole test was most relevant to my riding style

MPH24 Added a reply to How would you stop Richie from flatting?
8/17/2018 8:44am The insert stuff definitely helps, but this is ultimately the issue. You can't simply mash over anything in your way. I ripped a tire last night simply because I rode a dumb line. Total buzzkill for the post work ride, but I simply picked an awful line.

8/14/2018 7:29am I really hope Eddie doesn't sign with Rebull. That would be a bummer. Now that he's a top 10 guy, Eddie needs a way more "bougie" helmet sponsor to fit his brand. I'm thinking something like Audi or Breville that fits in with the mid-30s enduro guy with his full carbon pivot on his kuat rack talking about how good...

8/13/2018 7:22am General Lee's comment in the 2018 rumors about salaries is interesting. In inside line pod with Whitely, he mentioned that viewership is up, etc. with the stream and what not; is that playing a bigger role in increasing salaries? If salaries are up 20% plus over the past couple years, I think we are in for some big shakeups. At...
