problem with this is no team vehicle can make it from Whistler to Lake Placid in that time period. ESPECIALLY if DOT regulated.... which the SRAM rigs for example are.

8/26/2025 12:45pm Disappointing to see that Enduro won’t make it to North America. You’d think an Utah and Whistler round would make sense. Did hear a rumor that the Olympic Park in PC was building a DH track off the new lift. Not sure about the terrain there though.

on the topic of steep, tricky tech vs speedy motorway, it's almost that every is so good anymore that times are going to be tight no matter what the track. we've had enduros with 40-minute total times separated by a few seconds. the elite men top 5 from MSA last year were within 1.1 seconds of each other, the top 3, only .5 apart. i think it's just the sport now, and it'll be rare to see 8-second blow-outs anymore. msa 2024

It's been fun this year and today's Q2 times show how much everyone is laying it on the line. This could be a value add for the big teams because they will get 1.5 -2X exposure with quali and finals...

The “give them a chance” from what I assume are industry insiders is brutal. The fans and actual mountain bikers are one of your biggest stakeholders. Without us there is no money in this venture. Why should we give them a chance? Discovery has done nothing to provide any actual information about the product to us. This deal was announced a while ago and it’s not hard to develop a reasonable communication plan with some deliverables around how races will be broadcast. I think we all appreciate some the details take time but other than Discovery buying the rights what...

I hope everyone that made a complaint about the FREE redbull coverage over the years, wishes they did not. Redbull changed the entire landscape of DH and XC racing. Huge resurgence for both sports, in terms of viewership since Redbull got involved. They built hype, excitement and did it well. It is an incredibly hard sport to cover, logistically and they got better and better. UCI owes redbull a debt of gratitude. Too early to tell what will come of this, perhaps DiscoTV will lead us to a whole new audience? and that can be good. I just don't know...

This is really cool. Excited to follow this Neko! I could see this becoming more of a trend... What Neko and that level of rider needs and is looking for in a bike for WC racing is so different than 95% of what everyone else is looking for in a bike when going to ride or hit the bike part.
