Was it just my TV or was the sound off on the RB feed... I could barely hear Eliot which was a real bummer. His mic seemed to be very low volume compared to crowd noise.

It almost seems like workers labor is undervalued by the people running the companies they work for. Like workers aren’t receiving a fair share of the value they generate for their firms. I’m just spitballing here.

Any chance you guys get a large or XL in and compare the length of chain stays? Feel like the internet has been clamoring for longer chain stays on larger bikes and SCB finally has size specific chain stays. Would love to know what taller people think about the handling.

5/5/2021 7:42am I talked to Maxxis a week ago and they don't have much stock. They have DHRs and others getting on the boat in a month but the person at Maxxis was unsure how many of those tires had been allocated to OEM partners... The word was buy tires for your summer supply now.

Thanks for the replies. spomer didn't mean to imply you glossed over it but I think the general "make everything in us" crowd does at times. I don't want to mention the brand but it is a large one in a major metro area. One issue they brought up is that price isn't really the big issue but finding quality people that wanted to do the work. To Push, more of a general business questions, but do you find you spend more time or HR resources on finding, developing, and retaining talent on the manufacturing side vs. the sales, marketing...

Great Listen. Very insightful. I know it's a touchy subject and also some of the IP Darren talked about with manufacturing, but it would be cool to get more insight on the labor side. I know another outdoor brand that moved it's manufacturing from Asia back to the US five or so years ago and is now shipping the manufacturing back to Asia and other locations because the labor side of things was a semi-nightmare. I think some of this was HR related plus the labor pool demographic. How much of a challenge is this aspect because I think it's...

I get there are a lot complex issues here with the UCI. But it seems to me there is one easy solution to deal with key point here: If you qualify for a final at WC that means you’re a top 60 rider and to Eddie’s point, have the pace, you should be granted the points or given the status to gain entry to race in a WC (guaranteed a spot for Qualis) for the next 12 months. This seems like an easy solution to ensure you’re getting the best talent and gives people a much better justification to commit...
