Right, because Sam was running 5 year old equipment... What's the marketing nightmare? Seems like a good day for Mavic, who makes plenty of stuff that would be sweet to have on my bike

Kind of crazy the Syndicate has been together for 8 years with the same core group. That's a long time l for any team in any sport and they've been pretty damn successful. Lot of these guys shuffle around team to team. Hopefully, they can put together a team that has another long run in them

Kind of a bummer that the end of race was a little anti-climatic with Gwin just cruising. No doubt he earned it, but given Harts performance this season it's tough that the series was all but decided before the weekend.

Does anyone know how much the UCI charge for hosting a WC? What some the requirements are? Or is it just a pay for the UCI delegates to come to town, put in the nicest hotel, wine/dine, and get some hookers to blow them?

Ever use one of these? https://vapur.us/ Avoids that problem and work well for carrying extra water. Usually bring one on longer rides and dump it into my normal bottle (on the frame)

I can't even take the rest of this article seriously after your Moab introduction. So lets look into my crystal ball... You decided to pedal the whole Porcupine loop instead of paying for a shuttle = amateur. Based on your dehydration, I can assume you brought maybe a couple water bottles on a 30 mile desert loop = double dangerous amateur move. Got some fun flow and flow jump trails that are a pedal from the house, which is great when I have an hour or so for a ride. Anything longer and I'll hop in the car for 10-30 minutes to access better trails

Funny how Gee gets so much grief. Winners are focused and often very serious. This guy puts so much work in and sacrifices a great deal out of his daily life to chase tenths a of seconds only to get crappy commentary from Internet aficionados. Kind of a bummer, really. Anyway, I feel like Gee is actually more honest in that he's not selling us on anything he's not 100% behind. He will be stoked when he is winning races on that gear and not much sooner I suspect. I respect that...for what it's worth. Thanks for sharing, Gee. Good...

This is a mixed bag. I think the biggest plus here would be that the national cycling organizations would dedicate more $ to national series and what not for DH which would be great, especially in the US. The downside, as others have mentioned, would be that its one shitty track choice away from making DH look really lame and...
