bradleyjreece Added a comment about feature On eMTB's and Mountain Bikes

This is a tough one. My experience with *apparently* new riders on e-bikes has not been bad per se, but also not good. The notion of earning your downhills by climbing is kind of a lame retort unto itself, but it has some merit. In building up to be able to climb to the good trails, I learned a ton about bike handling and trail etiquette. This made me a better and safer rider. In my experience, which is limited, I have encountered more new ebike riders that have essentially skipped that stage of learning and they are not particularly...

There was talk of a sort of “legends” race on the comments on the Peaty interview on PB. If guys like Rennie, Kovarik, Peaty, CG, Nico, Barel, any of those guys put a season on for the masters, it would be awesome for us fans and probably a boon for both the industry and sport. C’mon guys do it. Maybe The Smiths will reunite, too!

Gee, I hope you’re somehow being ironic...otherwise you have exemplified the notion keeping quiet and being thought a fool or opening one’s mouth and removing all doubt. You leave little room for doubt in this case.

bradleyjreece Added a comment about product review Hightower LT

Thanks for this excellent review. It was so timely: I was really close to selling my fairly new HT and my whole Nomad 3 to upgrade to an LT with an X2 coil and maybe be left with change for a wheel upgrade or new lights. My thought process was to simplify the stable and have the "one" bike, a game changer. Based in what I have, my so called upgrade would be marginal at best from the sound of it. Thanks for helping me to settle this!

No mention of Loris? Maybe that team rumor is already established. Also saw Loic checking out Confluence on his computer which is pretty sweet if you're a tech geek like me. I saw him in Santa Cruz in that van and said, "Hey dude are you the shuttle driver? I got twelve guys that have been waiting here bro! Get these bikes loaded up and let's get moving." His reply, "You're joking?" Mine, "No. Let's go." The look on his face was priceless. Such a good sport taking crap from an old guy. Good luck in 2017!

Really, this is great stuff. Hats off for all the "banger edits" and Raw, but this stuff is truly the largely unmined gems of content. Thanks and keep it up. That said, I'd love to see a "what's in your bag?" for EWS riders. Or head to toe breakdown of their kits and how they like to run their gear. I'm sure everyone's sponsors would love that and you would see organic growth in your click through ad revenue. Make it so!

Big Bird Liked a comment about video Behind the Scenes of a Champion - Aaron Gwin

I'm so excited to see what Aron does on the Tues with it's higher suspension progressivity as opposed to the Spec. Total domination may be boring to some people. But not me.

Totes. It's a 29er / 27.5+ hybrid. Bonus points if it converts for bikepacking. #quiverkiller Ummm...no.

I think I'm with you on this one Zach. The super steep stuff is where I am least comfortable, but lately I'm just so stoked when I get to the bottom. Then I can't stop thinking how rad it was to go that fast on such gnarly terrain. I dig that. But I will also say that winning my first...
Cockpit set up, then tires/pressure, finally suspension set up. For me, the way the cockpit is set up is what makes it feel like "my" bike. I find it strange on the one hand, but totally makes sense on the other. Then, if I don't like or trust the tires, I'll ride crappy. I really need to believe in them...
