Both are great pedals. The Vaults still have the edge when it comes to grip, it may be that these Konas will do a bit better when it comes to longevity, it's still a bit early to tell.

I remember seeing on here a few years back, a product highlight done on a pair of tire knob cutters. Does anyone know the name and brand of the tool used to cut the knobs off of tires?

I will admit that eagle is not objectively better than the shimano XT setup, I just feel that way from my short time spend using it thus far. However, I will say that I feel the transition between gears is much smoother on the eagle compared to shimano. ... more »
