Not sure I'd class Merino wool as a tech rumour, having been around since the 13th century... But I'll agree it's the best material for pretty well any sports-related activity. I'm partial to Mons Royal stuff, especially the merino chamois shorts. Costco always has some version of a Merino shirt for sale, probably the best deal you can get.

The Cotic built frame used 38.1 mm of tubes for tt/st/dt. The dt being the same one they used on their Rocket Max. This new front end was built by Adam Prosise (formerly worked for Reeb now building stuff out of his own shop under Prosise Metal Works). I would guess that he used the Velospec 44.5mm tube with a 1-.7-.9 butting or Fairing also makes a 44.5mm .9 straight gauge tube. That is the beefiest commercial available tube of reasonable weight. Next bigger option would be to internally relieve a 50.8mm 1.2mm tube on a lathe. I would expect...

Now, I know it doesn't align with the macho-hype-adrenaline content that RedBull puts out, but can we get crazy skinnies in Hardline? That hip over the creek surely doesn't work, but what if it was a sweet skinny? I know it's not the UK's style, and sure my BC-ism is showing through, but I think it would look so cool, and really test the rider's abilities to control speed at race pace (which is more or less the point of Hardline. Jumps test your ability to gauge speed when the trail doesn't have a "trail speed" because it's a race...

Old person here. Rampage is too groomed.It's so 'mid' now. 90ft jumps are not the norm for pro's......not even the darkfest crew. I know some of the 'boyz'. Most of them are scared shitless. *You're The event is owned and run by RB. The diggers (some of the Dyfi crew) are contracted to build/maintain the course. So good! Question for everyone: Do you dig the '17 Questions' format? I always enjoyed them growing up, but that was back when getting more insight into your favorite racers/industry peeps wasn't as easy as it is now. They don't do very well on the Toob, which doesn't really matter, but I'm still curious if people are fans of the format.
