Would be nice if it was a dj frame, but clearly handle bar and likely a stem.

Nothing like a core sample to see what’s going on beneath you.

At first glance the design on the top of the helmet looks like the specialized logo....

@bturman Somehow before I thought he was putting on a 10-42 cassette, I don’t know why I couldn’t get that out of my head. I’m sure the key ways on the dh spacer is much deeper than the alloy 42 on the Xo1 making the profile spacer unnecessary. But It ... more »

It should be there, it looks a lot like a 10sp cassette spacer but if you don’t use it will ruin the free hub then the cassette getting it off. Why they do that is a mystery to me.

I don’t know if profile still does this but they require a cassette spacer even on the xd.

I've been running the ti cane creek cranks for about 700 miles with no issues. I was skeptical at first but they have been bomb proof!

All of the cranks mentioned press/wedge onto a spindle, crank bolts are loose all the time but the arm is still pressed onto the spindle.

Reminds me of being in a bike shop and a guy all lycra'd up with his $-Works carbon road bike comes in with his cranks in two pieces, exactly as you describe.

The torque spec is pretty high, but it’s also a Ti bolt slathered in anti-seize and the splines sit on the outside of the drive side bearing unsupported. I also had an issue with the supplied Ti chainring bolts but I bet that’s an isolated incident so I won’t throw to many stones in my glass house. However things happen if you leave the bolts loose or they loosen (happens rarely ) on a Shimano crank and the Al splines strip around the spindle the arm will still be around the spindle, not the case if that bolt fails for whatever reason. Just a pedal and crank attached to your foot. I don’t want to boo vital’s awards but this one I had an issue with. (sorry Spomer)

Better hope the one bolt that holds your world together doesn’t come loose, and no loctite. Beautiful yes but no thanks after installing a couple myself.

The riding is great no doubt.

I hate that eventually ebikes are going to divide the community. People who put in the time to build trail are not likely going to ride with a motor and won’t allow it either, Nor should they. But a divide is coming. Bikes don’t have motors.
