4/19/2026 12:20pm I'd buy neither as they're both compromised. This is getting old BTW.

4/18/2026 8:24pm I will never understand the “it’s a whole separate sport” thing. I ride my ebike exactly like my analog bike just do more laps. Literally every other person I know with an ebike does the same and is not going out and climbing up downhill trails in boost. I see plenty of e-bikes on the lift at the bike park being ridden like analog bikes. The innovation is happening in the motor and battery because the “bike part” of the tech has plateaued. Amflow proved this by making a decent riding bike out of thin air.

4/2/2026 4:33pm wild times, that's some quick turn around for changing motor, sales of other motors must be really down.

3/30/2026 8:41pm Yes, I think you just made my point for me. Power and looks are what set Avinox apart from Bosch and Specialized, and why Avinox are taking market share from both. Bosch and Specialized can push firmware updates to boost power to stay close on that front, but no firmware update will make their bikes as visually attractive as an Avinox bike.

2/17/2026 10:35pm Norco Sight QT - 580 Wh battery. Using new front triangle but same rear as the analogue Sight. Second result on google when I searched "TQ Norco Sight"

2/17/2026 3:29pm It appears to have a wired remote (two cables entering the right hand side of the frame) so I don't think it's DJI. The HPR60 still uses a wired remote so most likely that imo.

2/15/2026 5:51pm I’m not one to normally comment on an e bikes looks.. but the battery on the current levo is excessively large, so large in fact that I can’t bring myself to want one. If they make an SL option and opt for a slimmer 600w battery they would be on my list to try.

11/14/2025 11:05am There's enough history to know that battery progress has been incremental on a predictable curve, and will continue to be so. Increases in energy density of premium cells are in the range of 5-8% per year. So wait 5 years and you can knock 30% off the weight of your battery. I've followed battery tech for way too long, and the hype of some breakthrough has a been a constant. The true breakthroughs are quiet and what brings us those steady 5-8% gains.

11/14/2025 11:03am they won’t have double the energy density of today‘s best batteries. as i told you on the other forum, multiple times. why are you still parroting this false information?

11/7/2025 12:00am Bike testing for my relay replacement continues. Spent today on a Pivot shuttle AM. Bosch cx-r. It’s been a minute since I’ve ridden a bike with this much power. No wonder guys have range anxiety on bikes like this. It makes climbing so easy you can just go all day. I was supposed to ride the Yeti again today but honestly I didn’t even want to ride it. That’s why I ended up on the pivot. Pivots geo for what I ride is so much better. Pivots Bosch is very powerful but not natural feeling at all. And the Bosch...

11/6/2025 2:09am It takes a much higher cadence to get the same amount of power that the fazua makes. My seat of the pants feeling. I didn’t dislike the TQ system at all. Very refined and quiet. Just not much of an improvement (or any) over the Fazua

11/5/2025 7:09pm I'd be keen to hear more on this, specifically the yeti i.e. they're supposed to be the same torque. I've heard others say they feel very different too.
