@jessemelamed you’re a legend. Following your journey is one of the main reasons I kept riding and having fun on my bike. All the best for the future, and hopefully part of that future is right here contributing to the rumors 😉

If your definition of making money in a cushy fashion is 4 days work for minus £40 and comments like this, then I must be that hanger on using mountain bikers for my benefit. Just to be clear, this was my decision to do this interview and I'm not unhappy about doing that at my cost. YT just covered the bulk of the travel to enable us to do it in-person, which I think provides not only a better quality audio and video experience for you all, but also makes the conversation flow better. This doesn't in any way change...

truly, re-animating a second time to enter your third iteration of existence is about as on-brand as one can be for an entity named Nukeproof. One could argue they get notably Nukeproof-ier with each resurrection guess they should have gone with Nukeproof. then Nukeproofer. then it could now be Nukeproofest. 🤷‍♂️

I miss when people used to draw silly little drawings of things. They were fun and whimsical and now its like "oh, a computer made that with no effort" and it takes the fun out of the photos.

I'm not sure how many of you have met Tippie, but he is just an absolute force. When he's around, he commands the entire space. The first time I met him was at Aggy's Reunion in... like 2015 or 16 maybe? It was one of the first fest series events and the rider stable there was huge. But if Tippie was anywhere in a 100m of you, you knew it and he was the only one anyone cared about for the most part. 10 years on, he seemingly hasn't lost any of that energy when you run into him at...

Their enduro team was done last year but they graciously kept me on board for this year with my contract having another year on it. Sounds obvious of course, but the bike industry isn't always so giving. The DH team took me in and I had a blast all year long, which was the main reason for doing DH at the end of the year. I just wanted to hang out with the team some more, and who wouldn't take the chance to race World Cup DH while they can. As for next year, stay tuned.

I can't imagine he'll have a tough time finding some kind of support. There is no stronger ambassador for mountain biking than Tippie.

Tippie was in NWA quite a bit over the last couple of years as part of YT events. Everything said on that writeup is true. He's unflagging in his positivity and stoke. He includes everyone and interact with everyone from the kookiest kid to the most seasoned pro. He's almost uncomfortably positive and full of stoke at times, but a brand really couldn't ask for a better ambassador. I hope he lands somewhere. Dude is a legend, and his story of climbing out of the dark depths of addiction is inspirational.

In addition to transitioning into Pickleball, Forged + Bond is also diversifying into other booming industries, like selling 6 7 shirts and a new patent-pending machine that gives you a haircut like Patrick Mahomes.
