What about Blewitt to Atherton? Couldn't beat Rachel as a mentor and she likes to ride the Hardline series. I still see Greenland possibly heading there for similar reasons. So what else? Dak to Scott, or Giant or somewhere else completely? Grice to Frameworks? Maples to Valis commencal team or Frameworks? Oli Clark to Mondraker? Dunne, Clark, and Pinkerton would...

At least another week for some of the "unknowns" to make official announcements. Moir is signing with the City of Bentonville and will have an ankle monitor on that prevents him from leaving the area. He'll be slanging pastries and coffee out of a smoko stand in the woods when not riding.

If Rogue racing was being help up by Daprela on the sponsorship side of things, could Angle be heading there? They ran V10's as well. They could have gotten him a frame. Mondraker did have Vero last year as well, not just 4 guys, so I could see them picking up Jess if Vero's gone. I think it would be interesting for there to be a point split between the teams and the riders at the end of the season, so the riders can retain some of their value each season for each team qualifying. Last year when they needed...

Probably less K-Pop, more Korea in general for themes. We're going to see some cool kits, some tacky ones, and probably a few where the designer uses Chinese or Japanese references because they didn't do their due diligence. I'm leaning towards Scott being no different from other teams with special kit and paint but not much else. Locals don't identify with Scott in any special way either. My money is on Specialized going big for the event. Specialized Korea has been making the most noise locally so far, and there's definitely been encouragement coming from Morgan Hill.

Sadly/luckily (not sure how to chop it up 😂). But I imagine a lot of teams might do something K-Pop themed, seen as that whole genre is so popular in the west now?

I could see a marijuana company sponsoring a free ride event. “Hey we know everyone is doing it already, let’s just sell a bunch of merch and we happen to co own a taco truck we will have onsite also”

1. 32" definitely being a thing. I'm not the guy to say it, I got my first 29er this year, but they're definitely going to be a thing and it won't take long before gravity orientated riding notices a little more. 2. Probably way off on this one, but marijuana businesses sponsoring more riders. It would be like an energy...

Getting it in before the new year. 1. Trek Roscoe. I picked up this bike on sale and put a cheap lyrik on it and it turns out it's great for the vast majority of what I ride these days. It's a looker and a fun rig on the cheap, can't beat that. 2. New trail centers. My local haunt...

More of a Scott rumor than a team rumor, but they're basically owned by a South Korean conglomerate now right? I thought the old ceo lost his lawsuit and the investor company was allowed to purchase and hold majority shares right? Long story short I wonder if they do something special for the Korean world cup race, maybe some custom...

1) my Turner Nitrous. First HT since the early aughts and hoo boy has that changed! I moved to Missoula from ABQ last year and having a XC/trail hardtail has made the riding tons more fun and efficient. Have been getting more on: 2) longer rides. Nice to be feeling more in shape. 3) custom tune on my Fox 36. Much more supple. I don’t smash like I used to, and a lighter tune has made the riding tons more comfortable 4) Sedona. First trip there since the mid-aughts and hoo boy that has changed! So fun, and just enough...

Greenland to Atherton still makes the most sense to me. I could see Nukepeoof maybe, but not Mondraker unless Dak walked off to find a better contract. On Brage I'm feeling like he might end up on Trek. They have a history of having great freeriders and slope athletes, they have the bikes, presumably they have the money.

Chasing your friends down your local trails as fast as you can and sharing the stoke at the bottom, continued progression in your 40’s, crashing but not getting hurt, tall bars, ripping a corner so good it makes you smile, building and riding my own frame.

1). Trailbuilders. Every year gotta be grateful for the gnomes making the sport possible. 2). Mt creek bike park 3). First enjoyable job since the pandemic. Been a bit of a rollercoaster to get here 4). My nephew. Long and expensive road for my sister and her husband but they have their beautiful son now. Who is getting a strider rocking horse for Christmas. 5). Mtb community, vital, local friends, randos in the lift line. Both on and off the bike y’all consistently put a smile on my face in an increasingly grimacing world. I’m certainly a bit of a...

1) Maxxis High Roller 3. Truly an excellent, year round tire for me in my local conditions. Works better in deep summer dust and winter squish than a Kryptotal/Assegai 2) Santa Cruz Vala. A 47 lb, full power ebike with dialed geometry and suspension. It just works, and is incredibly intuitive. The weight is a standout for me, at <160 lbs, trying to throw around a 52+ lb bike SUCKS. 3) Digging my own trail. It's not done yet, but after years of looking at spots and helping maintain other trails, I finally decided to try cutting my own. A...

2025 was an all time year. Some stand-outs: 1. RAAW Madonna - what a bike. Fast, composed, jumps fantastic and reliable. 2. Vorsprung Telum - expensive, but so good. I'm 260lbs and have been hitting bigger drops and jumps than ever and it's stayed calm and composed without asking questions. Having a custom tune from the start helps, but having the support from Vorsprung with any questions is also stellar. 3. Profile Elite Hubs - this was my second season on them. They might be some of the loudest hubs out there (which is why I got them). They're expensive...

In no particular order. Loved: Trails builders and the people that maintain the trails in the areas where we ride bikes. These legends will never get enough credit. Loved: Bikes are sooooo damn good at the moment. Whether Im riding my smuggler trail bike or riding my heavy alloy patrol enduro/park bike, the smiles these things give you and the confidence to try new things and ride harder knowing its always going to be ok. Loved: Supporting the Local Bike shops. Things arent great for these stores but still going out of their way to help out however they can...
