I have designed a 40mm rise, 25mm reach for 35 handlebars for my 29" modified Intense M9 not long ago😜 I do it for the love of the game, maybe we can work together on something? We can end up designing something custom and having it made there in the land of the free (?)

We crowd funded MADHRA & held a 3 year long 9 venue East Coast downhill race series through Ridemonkey. People were dying to be part of something & the only way to accomplish it was to form a club. We raised a crazy amount of money & the club ran all the races. The "club" was all the people who donated. Man, that was awesome back when. My last MADHRA t-shirt is slowly dying. Did we ever get you one?

it's not $500 per team... the 25 UCI series teams don't pay this. and they all have media teams at each round, some with as many as 5 photo, video, social media people. it's not 20 teams sharing the same 5 people, or a small group with access controlling all the content as you're claiming there's no charge for any team, rider, etc to shoot photos. and outside the series teams there's a fee for video because of TV and broadcast rights. anyone saying they lost their team job over that fee likely wasnt getting paid in the first place...

Each team is allowed to register photographers and videographers (each team then receives a set number of photo and video bibs for the season). if someone doesnt work for a team they can register as independent media once they have letters of assignment from a verified media outlet. there are little to no restrictions as to what can be shot/posted. Things are moving. For the initial public release, we're going all-in on grassroots racing, the "Strava-like" activity tracking pirate ship will come later. From my point of view, grassroots racing is where the gap (and my passion) is, and it's where we can deliver something genuinely better from day one. The upside: Garmin integration ships with iOS/Android/web app launch. If we see the traction we're expecting, we can build all sorts of cool activity tracking stuff, but it just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to start with that. Happy to answer questions. Cheers

Ella hasn’t raced since 2024 even though she was on the Trek team for 2025. Her last post (removing the Trek team announcement in early 2025) on social media was October 2024 where she crashed a bunch of times at MSA. I think it’s more to do with Ella stepping away from racing last year rather than being dropped by Trek.

RE Ed Masters: Pivot HQ likely cut funding going towards racing for 2025. And probably with instructions to get a rider like Dylan, and if the enduro team had to be cut, so be it. Pivot was likely shelling out $150k+ for Ed (salary + travel expenses, etc.). The team clearly had some substantial budget reductions from 2025 to 2026... Pivot is likely saving well over $250k in salaries and expenses from last year, even with signing Dylan.
