Wow, and my old ass was sitting around being impressed with their riders winning this season and thinking that must be good for their image.

Kove Motorcycles and ZXMOTO, also from China have scored wins in Dakar Rally, and World Supersport. A lot of people thought that Chinese companies would never do well in competitive racing series, but that's not the case anymore.

Don’t hate the tool. Hate the “tool.” Utilized in the proper context, they are loads of fun. It’s unfortunately too easy to act the fool on one.

Frameworks, is the first team of the year to win in both elite categories, impressive for being a little team and big win for Neko and obviously Newkirk, plus Asa on the podium in mens. Not only is the north American streak somehow still going but Newkirk being the first American to take one in 20 some years is also...

It's crazy to me how riders can find their form and just start killing it after so many various struggles. Good on the lad. The North American wins continue!! (Even in womens... Anna stole one out from under Vali, speaking of struggles, Vali was battling with this track hey)

Pinkerton's obviously on one based on Q1 times, but for me the dark horse USA rider is Dylan Maples. I think he's due for a big result sometime soon.

I'm really happy to see Men's Junior Nathan DeVaux starting 5th tomorrow after going 4th in timed training. I had never heard of him until I recently watched the short documentary Dyfi Groms about the young mountain bikers and their families in the Dyfi Valley community. If you haven't seen it, you'll have to trust me it's a half-hour or so well spent. It's free to watch on Youtube:

So which North American male rider is going to win this round? Wink . I only kid, but it would insane if somehow the streak kept going, even crazier if Dak or Pinkerton take it as a first timer, which they're both in a good position to try for.

He said in the Fast as French track walk interview that he was for sure going to do it in his quali run which is diabolical with the level of competition these days.

I wonder what the legal recourse is if any? Quite a few brands have been testing openly and probably pouring oodles of money into it just for the uci to now ban them. With the sunk development costs, not just frame companies but wheels, tires, and suspension companies as well what's the chance it all still gets released just to...

I'm all for keeping DH loud and rowdy i think all of it has its place even chainsaws (probably not needed every corner but everyone wants to be a chainsaw guy these days), it seems like the flares have been confined to the finish area before, where they make a lot more sense. Old man yelling at clouds rant, but...

Excuse my French, but could we fucking please stop calling bikes "analog", "acoustic", or -the worst I've heard- "bio"? Bikes are bikes. Ebikes are something else. Now get off my fucking lawn you punks!

Nah it’s dumb as hell. if they want to have qualifying be such a determining factor in the series they need to pony up and film it. It won’t happen cause all they have ever done is cut budget from production since the beginning. They also need to fix format like points for q2. And they should strongly consider protection for top riders even if they did film it. Dh is best as a one run winner takes all event anyways. Qualifying should only be to remove the folk who aren’t fast enough to get a good result on race...
