Fox knows that if you really want an USD fork you will deal with the hub issue one way or another. Can’t imagine an actual Fox USD fork customer saying “oh no nevermind I am obsessed with my current front hub and I am also too poor for a wheel build Sad

Quoting Roost here to keep it in line, but not calling you out specifically because so much talk on DH hubs. Here is the thing... any rider purchasing this fork (by itself or on a bike) will be running hubs that can do both 15 and 20mm boost spacing. This isnt a new thing to have a convertibale hoba and most (couple small outliers) 15mm x110 boost hubs can convert to 20 mm with an endcap swap. This isn't a major chang in anyones hub and usually shouldnt require a relace or anything like that. Fox didnt go with some...

Yes many factors with axle thickness can play a roll. The clamps make a giant change as well. The dorado going from 1 bolt upper to 2 bolt upper added a lot of torsional rigidity.

I just realized that I havn't seen windrock at any other time of year then early spring. I was totally confused seeing green as its normally just brown clay and rock everywhere.

It's blatantly obvious that Lewis just straight up copies prestigious products with the objective of selling them to people who love the looks/bling factor of the absolute high-end stuff but don't want to pay for it. The structural integrity of the design has nothing to do with it.

First round of the ewsdr or whatever they are callling it this year next weekend and the course map has been released. Around 100km and 3100m of climbing over 2 days so looks like they are going back to bigger days out again.

You just adjust your technique. If you rode exclusively high pivots for a while, then hopped on a more traditional design, it would immediately feel very strange the other way too.

Welcome to the wild and wonderful world of the bike industry, where you get worked to death and paid next to nothing, but there are literal piles of new and lightly used parts, even parts falling out the cracks of the building. What parts are you running? Whatever's in the pile. At least until you get laid off next week.
