8/20/2025 9:53am I wouldn't read to much into it , he probably has just had enough. He's been on the circuit a long time and had some pretty big injuries and maybe he just wants a change . What ever happens this season is imagine PFR will be racing next year on wildcards at least . People seem to have taken against BK recently , can't think why 😁

7/22/2025 9:12am Not to rain on the GM hype parade, but let’s not rewrite history… Back in the ‘08–‘09 mess, GM took a fat bailout – over $50B from the U.S. government. They went full bankruptcy, government owned a chunk, and when all was said and done, taxpayers ate like $11B in losses. Not exactly a heroic brand imo. Ford? They saw the writing on the wall early, leveraged everything (even mortgaged the damn blue oval logo), and pre-borrowed $23B in 2006. Didn’t touch the TARP bailout like GM and Chrysler. They did take some smaller loans for tech stuff, but actually...

7/22/2025 9:12am Jeff, Robot, and all: thanks everyone for your insights in this thread. It's by far my favorite on Vital and Vital is the only forum I engage with on a regular basis. I've learned a ton from all of you, particularly on the business side (and maybe more than I care to about flex stays). My friend Roger has a saying that an offer is only as good as a take. I interpret that as being basically the same as "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink." Not to get too specific, but I...

7/21/2025 11:04am This might be the only mtb forum where people actually get along 84 pages in, talk about REAL books in both finance and philosophy, and say sorry. Long live vital

7/17/2025 7:22am Idontwannaderailthethreadmorebuthereyougo Dyname is the DBA of Propulsion Powercycle Inc. "The Company" would have been Procycle (as it then was), which later changed its name to Rocky Mountain when it dropped all of its weird ancillary stuff like Evox and Miele and (probably rightfully) refocused on Rocky Mountain. I think Rocky Mountain was a further chain below what's shown and Procycle (which now that I'm thinking about it was probably the DBA of Industries RAD inc.) completely subsumed it in 2018 with the name change, but I don't know the inner workings. The only reason we know the below is because...

7/8/2025 7:21am 17cm of the hose need to move through the guides freely up and down without any drag. Lining the guides is IMO a much better way to go.

7/7/2025 12:41pm Unless I am missing something, I doubt that would work. The brake hose needs to move freely in the guides when the fork compresses. Add a bit of a friction and it would kink (and possibly hit the spokes).
