I started a new thread to keep the conversation going around TPC’s without bogging down tech rumors. Discussions around metals are also welcome! Materials and Processes for Cyclists

You are already riding bikes with aerospace carbon fiber. The actual fiber is the same as what's used in aerospace. Example: Toray T1100 is the world's strongest fiber and used in both bikes and aero. T1200 coming and will be 10% stronger. What's different is mainly the resin and the process of making the bike. Note I could argue some of the bike parts I've seen are actually more complex and high performance than many aerospace manufacturers would/could make. It's impressive how far we've come in this industry.

Can we get a separate thread for requesting separate threads so it doesn’t clog up this thread?

I can’t remember if it was Charlie Cs wet track did video or somewhere else, but evidently WYN’s crash was on a jump further down the track. Downtime post race with Neko and company indicated the same. I thought it was the big jump everyone was casing as well this whole time, but I guess it’s further down.

Boy, the bike industry loves to rename shit in the goofiest way. Those are not idlers. They are drive sprockets. Two of them mounted on a jackshaft.

I came here to share the delight of my inner twelve year old as a result of the gratuitous zoom in on male genitals for EVERY SINGLE RIDER. Has there ever been a more high profile dick drawing broadcast around the world ? Probably , but good on ya lads Also , I beat Asa once… to the top of a hill on our local paved river trail in Durango …. Because I was on my townie e bike and he was chatting with a friend on regular bike . Take the wins you can get gents

I'm not going to cast too much shade on Hardtail Bro. I will, however, cast plenty on the mixed messaging and policies of WBD/UCI. Their implied goal has been to raise the professionalism and elite nature of the sport. Simultaneously, they've allowed a racer to use a hardtail to compete. This is inconsistent with the way they're supposedly pushing the sport. I also will cast a little shade on our community. We've bemoaned the loss of grassroots accessibility to the World Cups while also bashing hardtail dude, who represents just such grassroots privateerism. Dude managed to navigate the red tape...
