Not a Gates belt and the teeth on the crank cog look either misformed with every other tooth joing, poorly 3d printed or just straight up hallucinated.

@sethimus @Evil96 @CascadeComponents I love, like love-love, that someone with an engineering background (and seemingly a degree) and a wealth of manufacturing experience provided factual mathematical evidence, and it has been refuted by "I believe the manufacturer of this shiny new thing I bought", like conformation bias doesnt exist or something.... There's a quote about facts and opinions that I'm trying to remember here...... it'll come to me....

The only way I see to have any meaningfull data from accelerometers to get suspension movement is if you have two accelerometers at each end of the suspension unit (fork crown and lowers or both shock ends) and compare the two. The difference between the two will be what actually moves the moveable part of the shock, from that you could get speeds and then movements. But you're not doing that with 25 USD BT accelerometers. You'd need a serious DAQ with synced channels to do that kind of measurements. As said, that website is full of red flags and...

String pot update... next iteration done and ready to ride. Testing duties will be delegated as I'm recovering from shoulder surgery but hopefully will have some results to share soon.

Im just being an annoying ME now but porous ceramics are a thing except they are sintered from larger diameter media, under much less heat and pressure, and make great filtration devices. Porous media has not only gas but at most times liquid permeability of which ceramic pistons that we are discussing do not. These are most likely manufactured via hot press method that results in a non-porous but poor surface finish alumina or yttria ceramic oxide that's commonly called zirconia. I work with high performance ceramics for both filtration and high strength hard on hard seal applications. But from...

There's a good amount of perspective/distortion in play. If you take the center of the tire instead of the axle, you'd get a 40mm difference. Not saying the rear center is 420mm, but I'm not sure it's actually a longer backend and not just a stronger rear triangle.

Back at it again with my horrendous image measurements, this time something actually bicycle related. I took the shock eye to eye of 225mm and zoomed in super close to align it to the centre of the shock bolts and scaled the image until the measurement was exactly 225. I drew a line to the middle of the shimano crank spindle and the middle of the rear thru-axle (also zoomed in until my eyes were bleeding to estimate the centre as best as possible). I then measured the horizontal distance between the two points (used construction lines to make this...
