Just took at Teewing Turbo Force for a ride. Its Teewing's 150/160mm bike with the Avinox motor. Very nice bike for $6kMSRP. Motor is so quiet and massively tunable. Under 50 pounds. 800watt battery. One of my local shops is now a dealer. For that price it becomes something to consider for sure.

Really hope it’s a swappable battery with 400 and 600 options. 400 for lunch rides. 600+ range extender for backcountry missions. 2x 600 for self shuttle. Maybe even let bikes be run on range extender only like the Levo SL can. Perfect ebike right there and has the unmatched looks of a TQ motor. It doesn’t seem like Avinox is interested in this type of battery modularity so that’d be a great way to flank them.

I talked to a guy who works for a Trek dealer. He confirmed the TQ120 is coming, and that they've got a novel approach to battery capacity with it. Sounds really interesting.

That’s pretty stupid thing to post. I bet a lot of people here have a lot of information on hundreds of bikes that are under embargo, but we’re not dickhead so we don’t just go leaking stuff. This is for people to find stuff out in the wild and post it like if a website messes up by posting a bike early or somebody sees something in the wild or spy shots or whatever not just straight up leaking stuff from your bikeshops account

While TQ might bail on MTB's (no evidence of this what so ever but you never know) they are a $500m company with 2000+ employees that's pretty well diversified across multiple industries. Doubt the company itself is going away. Rumor is that they have a more powerful version of the HPR60 coming as well that should compete with the full power brands. If they keep the same or similar form factor, power delivery, and quiet operation as the current product it should be pretty compelling. I've ridden the current HPR60 a bunch and it's really a great motor at 350+...

Guy who owns bike company trashes competitors bike. Shocking.

They are the old model bike (replaced with the Fuel+), and Trek is on the second year release of those expected in August. Plus there's word of a new Fuel+ coming with modular batteries and the rumored full powered TQ motor. In the US, Trek has a bunch of NOS Fuel EXE's on their Red Barn site.

FWIW, Bike24 is discounting 2025 Trek Fuel EXe bikes by 52%. Not sure if there's a deeper meaning, but it's only 2600 eur...

ADJUSTABLE CHAINSTAY LENGTH!!!!! Also, great review with lots of good details covered. One question I didn't think to ask until now: can you long shock it for more travel? I'm guessing it's not running a 65mm stroke shock, so I wonder if there's room in the linkage and rear triangle to bump up shock travel to a full 65mm and make it a bigger travel bike. If 160mm is good, maybe 170mm is even better. And regarding the review, did you test the LT with a DEG DF rear hub, and if so do you know what deadband setting was...

My own feeling about Crankworx is that their drive to expand with multiple events all over the world and the 'Summer Series' events at smaller resorts has diluted their brand to the point where their flagship event in Whistler is no longer special or a draw for both international and local guests like it once was. Why travel all the way to Whistler to ride blown out trails in midsummer heat if you can see all the stars of the various disciplines doing their thing right around the corner from you.

with significantly expanded access to various outside the norm construction techniques.... will more small boutique makers be able to ramp their mfg capacities in the shrinking market? combined with inflationary affects and DTC sales, it seems like we could see a bunch of weird bikes being better available int he coming years, if the economy doesn't kill the makers and designers off..... wound carbon, epoxy and printed lugs seems like I could do it, and im an idiot.
