10/25/2024 10:48pm Will it stick well on a rim with rough surface finish? (shot peened, sand blasted, etc) Thanks in advance.

Katz73 Added a reply to Mena Arkansas
10/24/2024 6:24pm One of Gravity Logic's boss men went to Arkansas this past summer to bid on some new constructions. I'd say very plausible.

10/24/2024 2:44pm We make them because the bike companies request them. and actually when you start digging into it, we dopnt make a ton of bearings, just combos with bearings for different uses. and we usually have decent stock for our HS. feel free to reach out to us directly and we can usually sort a bearing that works (many are cross compatible). If you have more questions directly related to a HS feel free to DM me.

10/24/2024 10:12am Is the scout dead? It isn't even on the Transition website. I would be sad, but also wouldn't blame them for killing it. I was a scout fanboy. I went with a Norco sight in 2020 because of reasons, but one of them was because they also had a dedicated 27.5 bike. I was still a hold out, but the next bike I buy will be 100% be a mullet. It still makes me sad and slightly nostalgic though. I remember when 27.5 felt like big monster truck awesome size.

10/14/2024 12:46pm I realise this is flogging a several year-long dead horse now but here goes. Scoring the riders with numbers doesn't make sense to me for this event. Rampage feels more like a showcase of things that are simply insane to do on a mountain bike. As soon as you try and assign arbitrary numbers to that it takes away from whoever scores low down the leaderboard. The reason folk are so angry about Brendan's score is the complete lack of recognition for the standout qualities of his run - exposure and technicality (terrain rather than tricks obviously). So how about...

10/13/2024 5:50am I'll also add, there's so much dogma in the bike industry, you can't do X because it has such bad Y...etc. We're not totally impervious to this thinking, but with this project we made it a point to actually test these assertions and sort fact from fiction. An example, from the start I felt we had to do a 20mm axle because everyone says so, it was Darren that commented how much it sucks to get a new fork and then realize your wheel doesn't work with it. So we tested and found the diameter has much less influence compared...

10/3/2024 2:28pm I learned long ago, the youth tend to not know their MTB history, I mean it's not their fault, a lot of this stuff wasn't on the internet back in the day. But I do have a funny anecdote on youth and history; So, I was the head of a major apparel and protection brand for 12 years, in 2013 or so, I wanted to meet these young rippers from the east coast I had heard about, Luca and Walker Shaw. They came out to the sea otter, just groms. They were with their dad Doug Shaw (salt of the...

10/2/2024 5:07pm At least where I live, a lot of those 90's MTBs are still kicking around, still being used for what they do best, leisure rides and conmuting. Even if you want a brand new bike, the now named ATB (All Terrain Bike) is rissing in popularity in both sides of the atlantic ocean. Simple machines meant to go places... As much as I love tech and innovation, I believe the humble, plain and simple, good old bicycle, the one that get used daily, is the most important bike there is. SUV ebikes are ok too, I find very dificult to...

9/30/2024 1:24pm Bring back the Bottlerocket and give it a little more travel. I think that namesake deserves a return at some point. I know I LOVED mine. Such a fun and versatile bike. But apparently for it to be that style of bike, it has to start with the letter 'S'?
