5/6/2025 8:30pm I noticed some silver Crankbros wheels popping up, first in Brian Cahal's video on the new Ari Ebike, now on Commencal's Instagram. Hopefully these are releasing soon. Silver rims absolutely need to come back!

5/3/2025 4:37pm Saw this on Pinkbike website Intends new ''OnePiece'' fork, Cornelius said on a video the pricing of this fork will be over €3000,-!! Also Intend showed their brand new Hover Monocoque shock, the shock body is now a one piece construction. Looks like Intend will also adding a dropper post to their line up soon.

5/1/2025 7:29am Nothing really new here, but EXt working on some "normal" looking mud gards! Hope that fox offers a similar one in the future. Gives the USD fork kind of a more "normal" look. (I say normal just because im not used to USD forks in mtbs, but they do look good)

4/29/2025 9:38am Thought this was an interesting screen grab of Reece Wilson’s body position riding a short stem and longer chainstays (no idea what they actually are since they have been testing proto stuff, but stock geo says static 445-460mm). Looks like he’s riding a moto.

4/26/2025 4:37pm Looks like Intend sponsored rider Lena_ar_ on instagram, who I posted about a few weeks ago here running what seems to be a new intend bc dropper, has now also posted a fairly close up pic of what we can assume is the dropper levers. Looks like a nice piece. Hopefully their dropper is reasonably priced whenever they decide to release it

4/26/2025 4:36pm Really don’t get the dumb dislikes on the previous post, the black ones ( I got 3 all in full black with the last 3 warranties ) are the latest stock apparently, and after some torch inspection no, there’s no extra seal around the pins, so they will keep failing with moisture staying trapped causing the spring to corrode or something.

4/23/2025 8:09pm this press release i just received seemed pretty tech but maybe it belongs in the geometry thread. i'll start here... I am reaching out to you because I believe your audience would be interested in our company's launch in early May and the two new products we're launching with, the Cardio Speeder and the Super-E. These are the first-ever "procumbent flying position" electric bikes on the market. The procumbent flying position, a new riding position invented by Martoni CEO, Marty Williams, is a posture that combines ergonomic riding with speed. On a procumbent bike, there is no saddle; riders step...

4/23/2025 9:28am Hi DServy, Yes that is a very good observation. High Pivots bikes do tend to have lower vertical velocities as a result of the rearward axle path. That can be quite significant with very rearward axle paths such on the Commencal Supreme V4. The Jekyll is more of what could be called a "High Mid Pivot" design. it does have a lot of benefits of the HP while minimizing some of its drawbacks. As a rule of thumb, with this type of design I do tend to run a lot more Low Speed Compression with minimal High Speed Compression damping.
