But I don't think I will like it. I love the ergonomics of Archer D1X Trail paddle remote.
Interesting how transmission is lighter despite looking massive
XX SL w/ Battery = 441 Pod Ultimate w/ Discrete clamp = 47 488g vs 510g for this XTR Di2
On the topic of tech innovations, I guess we have gone "too far" when it comes to drivetrains. After 7 years of only using AXS, I recently installed the new SRAM mechanical transmission and really enjoying it. Much faster and just as smooth as the Transmission AXS stuff I have been using since launch. You can replace the cheaper components of the 90 groupset like cassette, pulleys and cranks with the higher end XX stuff and you got yourself a killer mechanical setup. Lack of B gap slap and strong clutch makes it some of the quietest setups on chunky terrain.
Some new info regarding the Intend one piece fork - Will not be limited per se, but they will open pre-orders, and produce as many as people order. Will only do one production run.

The spokes look too perfect, the background too uniform, it's just that "artifact" that I think is a clean hitch on a dirty truck

It's a shame they don't make a higher end shifter, the 90 feels ok, but it's not like an X01 eagle cable

The new XTR is massive as well. Looked as big if not bigger than Transmission
Rob warners latest video of a factory visit to hope
In the last part of the vid he shoves his camera close to the back of the bike, and then says "oops lets not zoom in too much"
Not sure if he hints at the brake or the derailleur, is that the new saint derailleur or another brand?
Also, the brakes "GB4" not a brake currently in Hopes lineup afaik, so is that possibly the new name for the ones spotted earlier in this thread? The ones with a bleed port in the lever?
Does anybody have scoops on the southern gravity DH bike?. Some old post sounded wishy washy on if they would sell to public. But their website...

It looks sick tho.
Can’t post a picture cause I’m retarded and on my phone but look up southern gravity on Instagram.
You can also check out the video on Sean's youtube channel about the southern gravity bikes. Cool stuff

Has anybody compared cable pull ratios between the two?
Pinkbike did, they don’t work, and I might’ve gotten a dislike but there’s no way anyone can say the sram 90 and the x01/xx1 feel the same, sram themselves don’t believe so, it’s a fact, not an opinion
To be precise I was invited to a pre launch product demonstration/talk and they told me the 70 is like an SX and the 90 as a GX
To this statement I was pretty surprised as the perceived quality to me is more 70-> NX and 90 -> GX
And I was disappointed to know there’s no plan to get a Sram 110 or whatever higher end model

Thanx, your comments and the mention of the bike in the other site’s article got me out of wondering if I’m losing my mind just imagining seeing such a bike! 😂 Looks great, will be a pretty wild comparison with the Scor 6080. I can only see 1 downside for me: it ain’t a high-pivot! 😄

Not the same but it's not something that couldn't be solved with a problem solver? And don't know why a dislike, X01 and GX don't feel the same...

I mean ive not had a bunch of fox stuff but if they do a usd enduro fork with the dual air chamber thing and can stick to traditional 38 pricing i might be in for that.

Also Intend showed their brand new Hover Monocoque shock, the shock body is now a one piece construction.
Looks like Intend will also adding a dropper post to their line up soon.
Over €3000! This is getting more and more riduculous
It looks like they're using the seat stays from a sommet or vt-01
I'm also guessing it's basically the same as the gamux 4+2 bar proto spotted earlier this year, but low pivot flavoured. 4 Bars to have baked in anti-rise, anti-squat, and axle path, then 2 bars for leverage rate. They're getting very popular these days.

Dang i wonder if the steerer is part of the single piece too. Itd be solid.
So what exactly is that Umkehrshnackeln thingie Intend claims to have fixed in their shocks? How does it manifest itself in the shocks a regular joe gets?
This was mentioned earlier, but the rotors are installed the opposite way to what we typically see on mountain bikes.

Here's a (what looks like to be) an alu capra Mule that Texi is on, it's a screen grab from a yt video.

Would love to continue this conversation here: https://www.vitalmtb.com/forums/hub/drivetrain-talk
Lots of exciting drivetrain stuff coming out next month so we can totally nerd out.
So the rest of us don’t have to search:
I may have sat on this thing before. Couldn’t have told you a difference by the looks…
