The Syndicate have been using them. Who else? Look for the small silver bolts on the underside of the lower crown: https://p.vitalmtb.com/photos/users/2/slideshows/12521/photos/34542/s1600_slideshow_photo_1564711171.jpg?1564710869

Been running the 170mm version for a month or so and it's been great except for the lever. Felt pretty flimsy and that was confirmed during a crash where i smashed it right off the bike! I've since replaced it with a BikeYoke Triggy that feels much more solid and has a...more

I have the One Up dropper and lever on one bike and I really love them, so much so they've shy'd me away from Reverbs having used them since they came out but I've just ordered another One Up dropper which I'm going to try with a Wolf Tooth lever, I hear good things......more

Great review! I had the chance to try a Geometron with Paul Aston in Morzine, down Plenay. And even though it was set up with the short travel option (160mm) I felt this could replace a DH bike. Even though I only meassure 6'1", I would even prefer to XL version.

I had it at the Whistler Bike Park without any issues, but avoided the hook as it would have dragged (so does any modern DH bike). It fit fine on my Thule and North Shore racks.

The Machine was actually the easiest bike I've ever had to pack. It literally folds in half. You don't even...more

Agree, bike racks, bike bags, chairlifts still sucks for modern big bikes; i do like pole / geometron / etc;

However mo real and applicable for majority of riders example spesh stump evo

Being an owner of a 1320 wheelbase 29er, there are also some comedic downsides not mentioned in this article - largely based around logistics - the bike doesn't fit anywhere!
At least, not anywhere your previous bike did easily.

The most annoying of these issues is chairlifts. It's...more

I think its similar to the stuff Polaris has used in their snowmobile assembly for about a decade. Its bomber. The most important parts of the bulkhead (chassis) is assembled with that stuff and is constantly put under high load. With respect to the overstructure specifically, the...more

You can get a Pole with the EXT Storia shock as well. You can't go wrong with a Pole or a Nicolai Geometron both have great geo and great features!

You could get a Geometron G1 which is capable of manifesting the same geometry or a longer or shorter rear end, higher or lower bottom bracket and different travel amounts depending on how you set it up. Also, the G1 has the most advanced MTB shock available and it's a coil.

These are great reviews Joel, but I must admit, I find the use of "we" in them kind of hard to read. The structure of the articles otherwise reads to me like there was just one reviewer, so each use of "we" instead of "I" seems out of place and breaks the flow. This is probably more...more

It’s 160 or 175 out back. The fork is 200. You will appreciate the lack of wheel rub coming from an SB150.

Thank you for your answer. After having tried the Geometron DH bikes are dead to me. If I'll ever need more than my current Yeti SB150, I'll get a Geometron in XL with 175/180 or 175/200 setting.

magnetic visor attachment is great idea.
I had issue with the previous helmets, the visor screws failed during a ride, maybe too many branches hit it I don't know, but suddenly the visor was hanging on one side, it eventually happen with the other visor, now I am out of screws, and used gorilla tape to secure the visor.
I am not sure if they got magnets for other things too, like liner and pads, but that would be great too.
Less chance of messing up the shell, or damaging button attachment, magnets make it easy.
