I believe that he's talking about hysteresis.

I mean ive not had a bunch of fox stuff but if they do a usd enduro fork with the dual air chamber thing and can stick to traditional 38 pricing i might be in for that.

38 is around 1700€ msrp in europe, i bet that USD fork will be at least 2k.

It's related to piston direction change noise (compression/rebound/compression)

As in "I'd schnackseln them cheeks"?

I'm also guessing it's basically the same as the gamux 4+2 bar proto spotted earlier this year, but low pivot flavoured. 4 Bars to have baked in anti-rise, anti-squat, and axle path, then 2 bars for leverage rate. They're getting very popular these days.

Good eye, very much looks like the seat stay from the Sommet.

Thanx, wasn’t able to mount a screenshot of the bloody thing, not sure why!
Wonder why they aren’t going mid high- or even completely high-pivot with this, given that more and more brands go this route…

I'm sure it's mainly because with this setup, even if it's just for testing, they can re-use the Dissent main frame which simplifies things quite a lot.

Does anyone have any insider info on the Reserve DH rims with NAWA nanotubes that the syndicate race team were using? Wondering if/when they will use it in the production rims?

Last online article I can find mentioning them is from 2021 and they say that NAWA would eventually make it to the production rims.

Haven't heard anything about it since. Any rumours out there?

I’m having a hard time zooming in enough, but I spy a sign on the top tube, right behind the headtube - I read “DRT”, but not sure. No idea if it means something or not…

Reserve quietly released the new version of their DH rims... no mention of NAWA.

Yeah... I know that. I have been checking the website.

They haven't mentioned NAWA for a few years now, hence me asking here if anyone knows much.

May be they decided to ditch the concept cause improvements could have been small, yet the price would have been too increased…

The pedals are from Fraezen, another german brand.

Intend does have some pedals in development, similar to the OutlierMTB ones. I posted about it a few weeks back in this thread:

Wyn’s latest video shows off the Yoshimura clipless pedals quite distinctly. Certainly an interesting design.

A better view than the photos shared from the Peeb a few pages back.

It looks like they borrowed the guts from a Shimano pedal to make this prototype. The markings on the spring adjustment look identical to a PD-M8000

Pedal 9/16 MTB Deore XT PD-M8000 SPD - Shimano

Giving strong Outlier Pendulum vibes. I'd like to see more development of this idea.

They must have hired the Lewis engineering team.

What's amazing with this design is that Canyon have decided a single pivot is good enough to control the axle path, braking behaviour and pedalling behaviour but the leaverage rate requires a 6 bar linkage and all the additional complexity and hardware associated with that.
