Me too! Love the dual crown setup on mine. My original V5 set up for park 180r/200f, dropper post, 10-42t 11sp. This year I got the G2 so my V5 went back to 160r/160f. High leverage link bumped it to 200r/200f. Ran the +10 and +20mm dropouts and really enjoyed the longer rear end. 9sp SmartShift Pinion, super quiet and planted like my e-bike. This bike eats. My buddy runs a Crestline setup similarly.

I’ve been thinking about this lately, as a possible downside to higher rise bars ( >35mm) so really interesting to see some of the numbers put to it. Thanks @Primoz! It’s definitely something to consider with bike setup if you’re someone who has a preference of some roll in either direction. I would warrant a guess that the roll is...
Go for it.. the Infinity EN solves all Enduro bike issues.. same hub, no adapters.., same stem.. low weight.. this one is the same I used on my canfield one.2... and the Spire with the CClink was 90% a DH bike.

Yes I'm tootin' my horn here but the winning Rampage bike would fit right in here. That's a regular Altitude frame with a few low key mods that anyone can do.

Ran my G1 with a triple clamp last year, formula Nero. Definitely a lot stiffer up front, but felt like the fork worked more consistently through the bigger hits. No creekty csus either!! Downside was tyre clearance as it’s a pretty short fork axle to crown, so squeezing it on a 130mm headtube was very precise and too close for my liking. Fox40 and a boxxer gives a bit more room on the headtube, so will pick one up at some point.

Firm believer in the enduro dual crown setup ever since I had a Super T. on a VPfree way back when. Now on a long-stroked G1 with a (slightly) lowered and reduced offset Dorado.

Here is mine: Loved this one, very pedal efficient but made me looking more into a full DH bike so I switched to a Phoenix v5.

I much prefer DC forks for burly enduro trails, lift assisted dh or bike park runs. If the daily uphill ride is over 500m vertical, then I’d rather take another bike or modify the bike for these long, one day epics, w/ a sc fork.

I feel like this could work on my ebike: Looks super wide

This is a non-issue. You simply buy a race for your dual crown (its different) and you leave the race on your single crown. When you switch, these should stay put. I see no reason you should be swapping entire headsets. Maybe I'm misreading?

More pics and info about Kayaba fork. Coil + air spring (like in old Marzocchi?) 20mm axle, weight 2900g, price ~1650$ https://mds.co.jp/news/2025/07/18/24687/

The Entourage was one of the funnest bikes I ever owned. The "mini-DH" bikes of that era, like the TR250, were so rad. Probably too niche to make it back into bike brand lineups, however, especially in these times and with many in this demographic moving to ebikes.

Kind of sad about this While I’m waiting for the release of a bike to put an Intend fork on I noticed they replaced the travelizer with the Travel Ranger, I loved the idea of running the fork lower most of the times and bump it up 10mm for trips like Whistler and similar

Respectfully, it's more accurate to say " Pro tip, your super enduro will absolutely be acceptable for DH trails." No matter how good long travel single crown bikes are these days, there's still no replacement for displacement.

I suspect we'll see more of the one frame Enduro/ DH bike moving forward. Orbea proved the concept can work, and it spreads the development cost over a larger amount of bikes. It's better for the manufacturers. Riders like the concept of being able to swap out the fork and shock for the once or twice a year park day, even if most riders never do it. It's the same as flip chips, most riders find the setting they like and stay there. I'd bet a good bit of riders never change the flip chip from the out of the...
