10/29/2025 3:44pm I think that Cornelius has completely outclassed Fox in the Upsidedown fork space. Options, quality, weight, price, reliability, performance, etc. Intend wins on every aspect. What the Podium did for me, is make me really interested in the Intend...

10/29/2025 7:34am On the other hand, compared to large players, it's not really unreasonably priced. It's not much more expensive than what Fox charges for their top of the line products in many cases. But it is a lot more niche.

10/29/2025 7:34am We will see about the dropper post but their prototype dropper lever had a really cool design and how it integrated the cable tension adjustment.

10/28/2025 1:11pm Cornelius from Intend “confirmed“ that they are going to release the dropperpost called elevator in the video if the new monocoque hover shock. Right at the end… Can’t be long for the official release

10/27/2025 9:25pm Brother, its probably just a simple mistake - sure its a little confusing but its not like there isn't a clear and blindingly obvious pathway for you to purchase a shock if thats what you genuinely are trying to do. It's probably not been a major problem for anyone else, and there might be something in the backend that makes it a little harder to simply turn off - I know that is normally built in to the payment/shopping platform but don't run a webstore so not sure. There are sometimes products that don't have an obvious answer for how...

10/27/2025 9:24pm Alrighty.....so, for starters the Telum is a premium product that anyone who buys it will EXPECT nothing but perfect performance, reliability and support from the manufacturer and supplier. No one is creaming it in the bike industry, especially mechanics and things are normally priced in line with global recommended retails set by the manufacturer. If they tried to mark things up too far it won't last very long for them..... There are certain brands I sell which I invest thousands in tooling, parts and springs for and know every single part inside out, so if a rider has a problem...

10/24/2025 9:24am I don't think I've ridden the links back to back on the same bike so it's hard for me to say. I did have to bump up a spring rate when I swapped due to the extra leverage. I'm fairly light at 155lbs so spring rates are still reasonable, I think I'm running a 400lb/in.

10/24/2025 9:24am Yeah I feel like the belt drive positives (quiet, low maintenance) don't outweigh the negatives (belts breaking/derailling, parts availability, mud performance, etc). The chain setup seems simpler to me but I've never had a belt bike, I've only ridden one around a bit that was way too big for me (Adam Prosise's one-off Reeb Brewser). I always run a waxed chain on all my bikes, helps a lot with the HP idler bikes especially. Gearbox drag is definitely a thing, but for my long travel bike I think the tradeoff in durability, weight distribution, and suspension performance is worth it...

10/23/2025 10:05pm Finally got hold of a set of GR4s after years on the Tech 4 V4. As with all things Hope the build quality is a work of art. First impressions: I bled the ‘old’ way without using the bleed port because I didn’t have the adapter for the funnel yet .Hopes new bleed video gives a few new steps which seem to work good. Lever is a touch heavier throw than the v4 but much shorter throw before bite due to the new cam design. It’s still very light. Extra hook on the lever is really nice, way more secure...

10/23/2025 10:04pm Since I saw this one 7 years ago this is how I've bled all my shimano and it has always worked well. I use putoline 2.5W but used to use the normal shimano.

10/23/2025 9:23pm I did the same thing with mine. Originally had two setups, a single crown and a short stroked shock. Eventually just left it in full DH mode as it really wasn’t any worse to climb on.

10/23/2025 9:17pm Hey look what I found in the parts bin: This was one of the last things I worked on at RS before I left... goal was to control big hits by weakening or slowing down the return of the air spring. I run my setup with a lot of spring and no damping, so getting bucked on big hits is part of the deal. This thing 'gulps' all the air in the positive chamber on compression and lets it out with a tiny delay (since it all has to go through the tiny hole to get out). No delay on...

10/23/2025 12:17pm That is one sick bike! Do you find there to be a pretty notable difference between the rocker links? Obviously the gearbox makes a pretty big change in ride feel so might be harder to tease out the leverage rate changes in isolation. I really do think that for bigger travel bikes like this, the gearbox is a game changer...

10/23/2025 7:34am Me too! Love the dual crown setup on mine. My original V5 set up for park 180r/200f, dropper post, 10-42t 11sp. This year I got the G2 so my V5 went back to 160r/160f. High leverage link bumped it to 200r/200f. Ran the +10 and +20mm dropouts and really enjoyed the longer rear end. 9sp SmartShift Pinion, super quiet and planted like my e-bike. This bike eats. My buddy runs a Crestline setup similarly.
