I assume the file is now closed. Rocky Mountain Bicycles, under the recent Chaos Sports acquisition, is alive and well.

Is WR1 still made in Canada? I recently got a new rim that replaces "made in Canada" with "North American made". Stoked on the actual rim and warranty,but I'd hate to see it move production down to the reich

I sincerely hope that Kona doesn't go away from single pivots, because I like bikes with higher anti rise and the slight firming of the rear suspension does not bother me in the slightest, where bikes that pitch forwards under braking do. If you're at all familiar with the evolution of the drone industry over the last decade, you might have made the observation that DJI was to the commercial drone industry what Amazon was to the bookstore industry 15 or 20 years earlier. If you don't have a problem with a single Chinese vendor taking over 90% of all e-bike options, then I guess we just keep doing what we're doing. They definitely make a good product, but how hard will they try when they've wiped everyone else out? Just one outsider's observation.

There is no mention of the adjustable BB in the geo chart, I can’t understand how companies can be so bad a communicatif basic info about their bikes

Interesting, it mentions the "horizontally adjustable BB position" but not much beyond that? Also this bit will be a deal killer for a lot of riders out there.

How did we ever have fun riding bikes as kids before batteries and motors? What a terrible childhood I must have had.

Without diverting this too much, but adult on a full power eeb towing kid on lightweight kid-sized bike solves this problem better, as long as you're riding winch & plummet trails. Which is what a lot of the young rippers prefer. If you're doing rolling up/down stuff, then towing is less practical.
