I've been on an EMTB since fall, I've gotten used to and prefer the added weight in the BB area. Now with the parks opening I'd love to add weight to my park bike in the same area. Not the weight difference between the 2 bikes but enough to feel the lower, higher mass. A clean, easy way to do...

Hi everyone, Andi Sykes here! I covered the China Cycle Show for Vital last week, and I've finally had time to edit some YouTube videos together of my coverage. Hope everyone is ok with me posting here, and please give me a shout if you have any questions about the bikes seen in China.

$3.77 and i'll consider. PIT BITS from Poland are up. Some bling, some electrogadgets, some Maxxis protos, weight watchers, diapers and more. https://www.vitalmtb.com/features/pit-bits-2025-world-cup-downhill-biel…

Quite a bit of range. 27.6 Miles / ~7,000' elevation gain - w/Range Extender - 25% battery remaining. Mostly tour/emtb with boost a handful of times for steep climbs. 24 Miles / ~5,100 elevation gain - NO range extender - 5% battery remaining - Nearly equal usage of all modes.

Right on cue, here's our 1st gallery from the China Cycle 2025 show which just wrapped up after 4 intensive days in Shanghai: https://www.vitalmtb.com/photos/members/china-cycle-2025-shanghai. Lots of clones of course but lots of really interesting work being done too!

Most of the weight and odd weight distribution is in the battery, improve that, not power. I believe power is low hanging fruit to improve for marketing and since most batteries are ultimately 3rd party manufactures with slower tech improvements we'll see less gains there, where it all should be.

There is a very distinctive break in period for the radials unlike anything I experienced with Maxxis. It's maybe 2-3 rides, not much time and the tires become SO much more pliable.

My 2 cents about radial tyres, coming from Super trail Mary/Tacky combo, moved to Mary Trail Pro and Albert Pro, Size, most complain that they're too skinny, probably measured when just fitted, after a couple rides the chasing breaks in and they go to their size, plus as Schwalbe mentions on their website they are not super wide but with this chasing they're taller, which is the first thing i've noticed on my Evil hearing all the small rocks getting shoved in through the bridge/lower chainstay That being said, grip uphill is pretty unreal, on the same trail where i...

I would tell you to move to the US to enjoy 20mph at the top speed but that's terrible advice these days. The class 1 and 3 comment was made on April 1st, sooooo I'll believe it when I see it. Also, using all throttle on a 840 battery won't get you that far when Surrons have over 3100wh.

Now that I've had it, I wouldn't want to go back. It's been a luxury to run a 50lb lighter spring while also virtually eliminating bottom outs and end of travel harshness. Went from a DHX at 400lbs to a SDLX at 350 fwiw.
