building alan hatherly's prototype giant xc bike (that looks pretty darned refined and ready for the sales floor for a prototype)
some new forks from intend at Eurobike
Is that a new coil shock?
Isn't that the air assisted coil shock they showed off not too long ago?
So it's Eurobike that is the reason for 4 fork launches in a single day?
any day is a good reason for intend to launch 4 new forks in a day
38mm stanchions confirmed…
So an all new brand out of Cali launching at Eurobike with a bunch of new products. Frame, shock, fork, pedals, etc. They are an offshoot of Tilta which make camera stabilization equipment. Additive manufacturing, Pinion gearbox, all the things.

"Stablead operates under the umbrella of Tilta Inc., a company with a 16-year legacy of engineering excellence, and also provides local service centers in United States, United Kingdom, Germany, United Kingdom, Brazil, and China. While Tilta is renowned for its industry-leading filmmaking accessories—including a leading market share in Hollywood’s vehicle-mounted camera solutions"
I, for one, cannot wait for our new Dandotal rubber overlord.
That is seriously impressive-looking, really looking forward to learning more!
You win the internet for today. So good
looks like jesse‘s on a new RS Zeb, chassis looks different to the current one…
The linkage being zip tied to the seat tube does not inspire confidence that this bike actually works.
Nice catch, it's not there in the website pic:

Security footage of someone sitting on that bike...
16 year legacy
Mismatched wheels in the website pic too; front is Back Inc. rear is from Alibaba: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/KOOZER-TR30-Bicycle-rims-MTB-bik…

"concepts of a new bike design"
Apparently axle material proved to be a significant factor in the Fox Podium design. Honestly changing material is so elementary I'm surprised I'd not heard mention of it before.
“the axle becomes a huge tuning parameter when you take away the arch on the lowers.”
Koozer, now that's a name I like.
I don't know much about film cameras, etc. but it looks like Tilta does not F around with product.
Using weed based composites in vehicle production is nothing new, they were doing it years ago. 🤣
If I had to guess, that zip-tie on the linkage is so people don't try to cycle the linkage because the shock doesn't work.
I find it much more likely that the rear shock isn't pressurized than someone went through all the effort to make that frame but it doesn't work. It's way easier to make a bike frame (especially with that lugs-and-tubes design) than a functioning rear shock that can contain the 200psi people will cram in it.
I have doubts the company will survive coming into the market with such a wide range of offerings, historically it seems better to start niche and branch out...
NDS view here:
Looks like that a P-line pinion gearbox with Stablead’s own servo motor/battery attachment? I mean that’s certainly not the craziest part of the bike, but interesting to see.
Stable Ad?
Stab Lead?
how are we supposed to read that?
Crazy to see that tire on a QR front wheel. I remember my QR Psylo, which Lopes' 2002 Dual front wheel was almost assuredly mounted to. Thank god for the widespread adoption of through axles.
I can't imagine landing my whip/kickouts these days on QR rear axles... sheesh.
Also, Rockshox just needs to revive the Totem fork in response to Fox's USD hype. Totem with Charger 3, galvanised lower with updated OG tribal decals. KeepTorque Caps ready like all the current forks. Speaking of torque caps, I just converted my E13 front hubs with their torque cup adapters. I guess the steering feel more precise....I think. :D
Oddly enough Lopes is involved with the Stablead bike somehow:
“In 2025, we were honored to welcome legendary champion rider Brian Lopes to the Stablead family. His invaluable insights and unparalleled experience will shape every product we create. Moving forward, all Stablead components will undergo rigorous testing and validation by Brian and other top riders”
Well I guess Stablead has no intentions of selling shirts
I suspect we're supposed to read it backwards.
