I added the zip tie lever trick to my Maven bleed process with good effect. In doing that I'm only bleeding the lever with the syringe by pulling a slight vacuum/flicking the lever, pressuring the system then closing it off. Hopefuly that helps.

I've seemed to have good luck with it. Are you referring to using a syringe for ONLY a lever bleed?

I contend 32" wheels are no longer a rumor as they're a real thing in existence nor an innovation as it's nothing more than a bigger circle.

For inverted forks I clamp the stanchions in the bike stand and remove the bike.

It did not go as planned. Had to remove the tire to get good look at the area to tape. At times like this I miss tubes and not having to deal with sealant. Otherwise all is good.

Well just wanted to share some results on some tire durometer measurements that I have collected of some of the more popular tires in my collection. Method: All tires were measured while sitting on a flat plate of steel to provide equal and consistent backing support. Nothing was measured mounted. I'm been using them for 6 months and haven't punctured any less or more. Puncturing seems pretty arbitrary sometimes and a difficult thing to test with so many variable in real life. You also have to remember, Shimano is a huge company with product lines across many industries. If one of those products slips I can't see them getting overly concerned.

I've always cleaned SRAM pistons and massaged them as regular service. A simple wipe with q-tips and some iso alcohol. I can see the issue of using fluid on the extended piston intorducing dirt into the system and the massage would seem to accomplish the same thing.
