If you reset your pistons, pad retract is always relative to the braking surface so you have the same pad clearance regardless of rotor thickness. Increasing rotor thickness will only impact the clearance/dead stroke if you don’t reset the pistons, but over time as your pads wear it will work its way to the same spot.

For those going to thicker disks are you rebleeding your calipers with thicker blocks to maintain rotor and piston gap/caliper throw? On my codes there's about 1mm clearance on either side of the disk. Centerline at 1.8mm to something like the TRP at 2.3mm eats up a lot of that space. Even with bite adjustment a lot of the range...

Oh one hand, props to Canyon for abandoning headset routing. Agreed the OE plastic bits are a mystery but once upgraded to FSA I don't see an issue. Outside of it being a non standard size, it seems to me a larger top bearing can only be a "better" thing? A convo for another thread....

Eagle derailleur was feeling left out - so I made a thing - replaces the washer on a standard UDH dropout with a "Brace" that links the rear derailleur for strength and stiffness.

I am looking for any information about this Cannondale Moto carbon frame that I have. It is a 2010 that has Kawasaki and Monster graphics on it. I understand that in 2009 or 2010 Cannondale in partnership with Kawasaki auctioned a complete bike on ebay for charity. I am curious how many of these frames were produced. This frame doesn't appear to have ever been built into a complete bike. thanks for any help

I can confirm this. I upgraded my levers from R's to Ultimate Stealths a few months ago and reused the R calipers. It's a significant improvement. Internally the Ultimate Stealths are the same as RSC's, Reach, Swing-link and Contact adjustments. Only substantial difference is the Stealths have a carbon lever and the lever body is closer to the bars, which...
