3/24/2025 2:31pm I think it would benefit any manufacturer AND the customer if the frame, battery and motor was compatible between specs. For example: pick a frame, 150mm or 180mm travel. Pick a battery size, 400, 600 or 800. Pick a motor, CX or SX. And out spits your bike. Like Build-a-Bear but for grown ups (?) Build-a-BIke... I have the concept...

3/17/2025 7:00am I see Maguras being the primary brake for most guys ridiing trials. I'm definitely generalizing but for a group that needs powerful brakes they seem to gravitate to them. Or is it more technique? I know little about trials riding skills.

OnlyMotion has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their electronic conversion kit for mechanical droppers. More info - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/onlymotion/worlds-first-electronic… I know this concept was discussed a few pages ago. I appreciate the effort to create something that doesn't exist. I also don't mind the extra cable at my cockpit for a mechanical dropper. I guess if you really want electronic/wireless without having to run the new gen of wireless droppers that look terrible with the battery at the collar, this is for you haha

3/8/2025 7:35am The info I've received and read from tuners is that one of their goals is to allow faster rebound versus what OE tunes allow for this very reason.

Great question. A couple rides in I think I opened up LSC a click or two to see if it helped (to compensate for a firrmer top of travel), then forgot about it until now. I also added a click of HSC (to compensate for a softer bottom 1/3 of travel) but then went back to my baseline setting. So yes, I think you can change settings a little, but I think the change in air spring is the biggest effect and doesn't really impact suspension feel at the top of the travel. I also pretty much never use HSC...

Finally posted my thoughts after a long-term test of the MRP Noken and a new guy to market, the Ratio Components Flux Cap: https://www.vitalmtb.com/features/great-minds-think-alike-ratio-compone… TLDR: I loved them both, and they do a great job addressing exactly what we've been discussing in this thread. On one of my first rides on the Flux Cap I bottomed out my 180mm Zeb for the first time in years.

2/22/2025 1:21pm Correct, close the opposite end of where you're trying to pull a vacuum. With the syringe vertical hold the slight vacuum and you'll see bubbles rise past the "surface" of the fluid in the syringe. Poof, gone forever I mostly tap on the syringe with the oil level below the tube/fitting to move the bubbles up and let them sit...
