Sounds like you've got DVO confused with Marzocchi.

In a stupid low squat? I'm only 10mm below your bar height at 6ft, and feels like I'm standing straight up. You must be all limbs with no torso?

It's awesome Vital is getting enough recognition that Fox decided to chime in. So far they haven't done anything but clarify a few things and answer a couple questions. @FoxFactory can you upgrade an existing gripX2 with the new mid-valve or does it require a whole new damper?

Correct, though as of last year Float X2 is no longer twin tube and has moved to a mono-tube design. We kept the X2 designations to help the majority of riders understand what product relates to what category and what adjustments they can expect on the product.

The new air shaft and dampers are backwards compatible for 40 - a new air spring/damper will take some different setup guidance than on the new fork due to air volume changes with the new chassis so "suggested settings" may not apply. If you are ever confused by what Model Year your product is you can look it up the serial number on tech.ridefox.com. Your gold fork would be considered Model Year 25 (Calendar Year 2024).

The symptom of peeing a lot during physical exertion is caused by a lack of sodium; often because the sodium that would be holding the water in has been sweated out. When that water can't be held in, whatever isn't sweated out will be peed out. Sodium helps the water stay in the system. Adding some sodium amount into your bottles will help you hold more water in and allow the water to be useful. It'll taste a little gross until you get used to it, but try adding some lemon juice and some table salt into your bottle before...

The post itself is unchanged. They just changed the battery charger from micro-usb to usb-c. Good riddance. "B2 generation changed from Micro-USB charger to USB-C charger included. No change to the seatpost itself." Source (page 6) https://www.sram.com/globalassets/document-hierarchy/spare-parts/spare-…

You're an amateur. I carry a ton of tools, but every other year or so something goes so horribly wrong I STILL have to walk back to the car. Bikes are pretty good though. My proudest trailside repair was actually roadside...blew a shifter cable 40 miles from home on a cold February day on my gravel bike. I had an extra cable in my little revelate gas tank bag. Fixed it, rode home.

Reformed xc guy here. When I was on 29 and my riding buddy was on 27.5 (both xc hardtails) the acceleration advantage of the 27.5 was impossible to ignore just as the momentum of the 29 was. For trail riding the 27.5 looked more fun in more places while the 29 just hauled the mail when things straightened out a bit or went down hill. I fully expect the same “revelations” in all of the 32” bike reviews to come out this year.
